First off, Burnie and I will be in Orlando for Assimilation Con on September 29th and 30th. Is a first year convention and is run by some of the people who work on Jacon. Since Jacon has always been super awesome we decided to check out Assimilation this year. I'm told that if you buy your tickets online from them and use the coupon code "ROOSTER" that you get $10 off...so there, don't say I never gave you nothing.

Next we have a couple of non North America events. First off Nico and I will be at Armageddon Expo in Melbourne Australia October 13th and 14th. I've been to Melbourne a few times and it is a great city. It will be a little weird not having a showing at ACMI, but maybe I'll go see some programming there and get drunk on James Boag's Premium as long as I'm in town.

After Armageddon Expo Nico and I will be traveling to Auckland New Zealand for...well, for Armageddon Expo in Auckland. That convention will be on October 20th through 22nd. We figured as long as we're down in that part of the world, why not stop by New Zealand. We went to Armageddon Expo in Wellington last year and that was pretty cool, so I'm really excited to check out Auckland since it will be my first time there.

Ok, now that you endured all that event info I'm going to reward you with today's comic! The comic is actually based on a true story...while attempting to come down to Austin to visit the new office Luke somehow managed to get detained at the border and is now banned from visiting the United States unless he fills out a mountain of paperwork. Lets hope that my trips out of the country next month don't yield similar results.
