PSA #Something Winter 2005 I suppose that we should have kept numbering the PSA's as we went instead of naming them after the holidays or special occasions. It would have made titling this one a whole lot easier. The Winter 2005 PSA is now online for sponsors and will be up very soon for everybody else soon.
Episode 50 should be out next week, unless there's some major catastrophe associated with the big move into our new "office" this Monday. As in, if we all get the flu again (unlikely). Or if gus and gfunk get drunk and drop a desk on Matt (likely).

Where there's smoke...In case anyone was worried, the recent Xbox power cord announcement has not affected our production cycle. We've been hard at work on our next two videos, despite being huddled in the corner out of fear. The asbestos suits we had made to keep our lilly white skin safe are a little tough to work in, but at least they're lighter than the armor we wore at Sundance.
If you're a sponsor, expect to see a new totally safe PSA video very soon - a few days later for the general public. Once the video is released, we promise not to make anyone return it.
Gotta go. I think I left something in the oven...

Our video archives explainedOver the last few days I have noticed a large number of people asking about how to see all of our archived videos, so I figured it would be a good idea to explain it for the benefit of our newer viewers. We are currently on Season 3. That entire season is up for download. Seasons One and Two are in what we call a "rolling archive". If you go to our videos section, and click on previous seasons you will see 6 different episodes from Seasons One and Two. They are up for a week, and then on each Tuesday, replaced by the next 6 episodes.

Happy Valentine's Day! Howdy Everyone!
I just wanted to wish you all a happy Valentine's Day. Hopefully you will get to spend it with that special someone in your life. If you don't have a special someone, maybe you can spend it with your mom (come on, she loves you more than anyone else, how bout sending some flowers her way!). Ok, that's enough mushy stuff, now I'm off to eat so many chocolate covered cherries I puke.

Episode 49 Online Episode 49 -- Roaming Charges is now online for your downloading pleasure. I also added another fan pic (right) the we recently received. I like this one because it makes fun of Gus and depicts Joel as an anorexic. Very accurate. Below this is potential spoiler information about Episode 49, so please watch the episode before continuing.
In this episode of Red vs Blue, we used the first Bungie game, Marathon, to represent the past of the RvB universe. I knew very little about Marathon when we started using it, I always called it "that god damn Mac game with the bugs" since every Apple enthusiast I knew [i.e. Nico, Matt & Gus] always pointed to it as proof that the Mac actually does hav... I knew very little about Marathon when we started using it, I always called it "that god damn Mac game with the bugs" since every Apple enthusiast I knew [i.e. Nico, Matt & Gus] always pointed to it as proof that the Mac actually does have one good exclusive game. Luckily, Bungie has now made the game open source and it's been ported to the PC. If you want to play this great game, try this Bungie page which explains how to get it and run it on various platforms. It's three games in all, and a really tremendous storyline. I've been playing non-stop since we loaded it on the production computers.

Episode 49 Production UpdateI was probably hit the hardest by the Sundance Plague, I got all the way up to a 104.6 degree fever. I actually had some pretty delirious moments in there. No doubt I was the sickest because I slept the least and drank the most (this is not true. I drank way more than you. -Jason) during the festival -- it was worth all the suffering I went through. Saw some great films and had a great time with the Park City night life. But at the risk of boring everyone, I will post more about this stuff of my personal RT page once we get done with Episode 49, which is being produced as I write this and should be out for Sponsors late tomorrow (i.e. wee hours of Saturday morning) and then 48 hours later ... As an additional treat, we often get lotsof stuff sent to us by guys in the Armed Forces that watch RvB over in Iraq and Afghanistan. Most of it is requests for Kathleen (Tex) to take off her top, but occassionally it's cool stuff like two American flags we received that had been flown on Blackhawk missions in Afghanistan. Or, we get funny pictures like the one at the right. I thought every RvB fan would be proud to know that thing is zipping over sand dunes somewhere right now.

Two For TuesdayHowdy everyone,
The Merch Fairy stopped by today and delivered two new shirts. These spiffy Red and Blue Army shirts mark our first ever RvB long sleeves. Hopefully you will enjoy them. We were shooting for "totally cool", while still maintaining a flair of "awesome" as well. I hope we hit the mark.

Strangerhood 4, More Sundance Pics, TV AppearanceEven though we are all deathly ill, somehow the world just doesn't stop turning. Stupid spinning world. Earlier today we posted the latest Strangerhood video for your viewing pleasure. Episode 4, "Sublimination Round," can be downloaded from the Strangerhood video section. Check it out if you've got 4 minutes and 48 seconds to spare.
We've also added a whole mess of new pics from our Red vs. Blue Sundance Film Fest adventure. Sarge and Caboose visit Park City, meet C-list celebrities and kiss more babies than all the politicians in Utah. The pics are up now in the Rooster Teeth and Red vs. Blue Media sections. There will be a special "Sundance" link on the main page.
Finally, look for us on the old TV box this Monday. The good folks from Fuse TV were out to Rooster Teeth HQ a few weeks back to ask us a bunch of crazy questions and video tape us pretending to work hard. The resulting video has been amalgamized into something they are calling "d'FUSEd: Addict'd to Gaming." It airs on the Fuse cable channel on Monday 2/7 at 7pm ET (4pm PT). At least one of us is guaranteed to say something stupid we wish we could take back, so set your TiVos and VCRs now!
UPDATE - The special Red vs. Blue Sundance Pics are now online. If you met us on Main St. in Park City, click here and enter your photo number to view and download your photo.

Hurk! Bleh!Everybody here at Rooster Teeth HQ has been extremely sick over the past week. Most of us from the flu, but SOMEBODY has a strange itch that doesn't seem to go away. Seriously though, illness has kind of messed up our production cycle since most of us have been bed ridden for the past few days, however we are making some progress on upcoming episodes. I don't want to give TOO much away but I've been having a lot of fun playing the old Marathon games recently.
In other non-RvB related news, I also moved into a new apartment today. In other non-RvB related news, I also moved into a new apartment today. The stupid cable company can't get anyone to turn my internet on till February 13th though (maybe it's their early Valentine's Day gift to me), so I am making this update from Geoff's house. I only mention this because I know people (MaxWalrus) are going to complain that this is the main page and this last paragraph should go in a journal entry.

A few Sundance picturesI just updated the Media section with a few pictures I took during Sundance. Other people had cameras, but apparently I'm the only one who is not COMPLETELY LAZY. I'm sick as a dog, too. Everybody cry for me.
More pictures to come, I think.
