With all the cool things going on every day, we knew we needed a place to act as a hub where you can find out about events, different projects that people are working on, and other news and info in the community.

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the Community Spotlight!

On this new page, you'll find a bunch of new features. Let's go through them!

1. Latest News
Here you'll find news about what's going on in the community, both for Achievement Hunter and Rooster Teeth. Regular news can still be found on the main RoosterTeeth.com homepage.

2. Calendar
The calendar is exactly what you think it is- a calendar! Here you'll find out when events are- and you can view it by month, week, or day!

3. Events
Our events section has changed to help promote community events- now, our events are broken up by Rooster Teeth, Achievement Hunter, and Community. Rooster Teeth includes events such as Conventions (PAX, Comic Con, etc) and any other event Rooster Teeth puts on (e.g. special live streams); Achievement Hunter includes any special AH event, live stream, and so on; and Community is community events hosted by you guys that you can submit yourself!
Community events are subject to approval. You must have a solid event in the works with a date and location. These include fan events or even just city meet-ups.

4. Featured User and Group
You've seen featured user on the front page, and now it's also on the Community Spotlight page along with Featured Group!

5. Topics of the Week
Generated from our forums, this module shows you the top threads from the week!

6. Community Projects
One of the things I'm most excited about is the community projects. For years, people have been promoting their stuff, whether it's artwork, music, fundraisers, and so on. The community projects section allows you to submit a project to show off on the Community Spotlight page! These are subject to approval, and depending on clutter, some might take a few days to show up.

We're all so excited about this new space on the RT site, and we hope you guys are too!

A Short Thanks...First of all, there is a new sponsor-only extended version of the latest RT Short. I'm hilarious in it and Joel is also there so check that out.

I won't lie, that short was brutally exhausting to film. We did it over 4 loooong, action-packed days, running all over Austin like crazy from downtown to an amusement park to the cliffs on the greenbelt. Joel got so tired that he had to take naps on my giant stuffed banana between shooting. That sounds like it's code for something but it isn't. Giant stuffed bananas are surprisingly comfy.
