Hello.Greetings all.
Thought I would pop back and say hello to everyone here that has an occasional look at my profile and hasn't added me on the ol' Facebook. So where to begin with this update on life...
Love:
Well, Tania and I are currently on a break/broke up. Were together for 9 months and I still care alot about her but I just wasn't feeling it anymore. It sucks really because this was the first serious relationship since the giant head fuck I had with the whole Sarah saga. And this was also the first time I had ever really done the dumping. I still feel like a complete cock.
Work:
Still plodding along as the Night Porter. Hotel has changed names but my position hasn't changed. We have a new hotel opening up soon in Adelaide and I did apply to it as a Food & Beverage Supervisor but got rejected. Now thinking about applying for a Front Desk role. Anything really to get off overnights as I am completely sick of them.
Christmas & New Years:
Chrissy was good. Time just spent with my family and Jims family. Got a 1.5TB external HDD and Season 4 of My Name is Earl (can't believe that it was the final season and it ended like that). New Years I had to work so that didn't really faze me. Over the whole New Years thing really. Just another night to get drunk.
Bowls:
Made the change during the off-season to the Adelaide Bowling Club. I am really enjoying it at the moment. My team is sitting equal top with a chance to move up a division. Got a new set of bowls with are red and white speckle and very, very pretty. Have entered many, many tournaments to try and improve my game. Almost qualified for the Australian Open but missed out on a count back of scores.
Music:
Been listening to plenty of music as well. Really gotten into more techno based music. Love the Ministry of Sound Annual 2010. Also been listening to Brand New, Them Crooked Vultures, Steve Aoki, Cut Chemist and a few more which I can't remember off the top of my head. Looking forward to Big Day Out (Muse, Groove Armada, Karnivool, Mars Volta, Fear Factory), Soundwave (Placebo, Faith No More, Janes Addiction), and Future Music (Prodigy, Empire of the Sun).
Future:
Got some big decisions to make over the upcoming weeks. Mainly will be if I decide to head overseas for a working holiday at the end of the bowls season. That will depend mainly on whether or not I get a job that isn't night work. Looking at probably working in either Canada or the USA. Maybe Ireland. Still haven't decided what will become of Tania and I. Gotta make sure my heart is fully in it before I give it another go. Also have to move out of Black Forest so that may push the overseas decision. In the upcoming future, I have the weekend off which will be filled with much alcohol down in sunny Beachport.
