So I was browsing the App store the other day and as usual couldn't find anything near as helpful as I'd hoped to. I was hoping to find something for my stat games, like D&D and M:TG and stuff such as that. There was nothing available for free, and none of the programs where anything more than a simple GUI and notepad. My iTouch already has a note pad thank you very much. What's the point of using something as advanced as an iPhone/iTouch to play stat based games if all you can really do with it is replace your dice and character sheet? Wizards of the Coast has free character sheet .pdfs and a dice simulator on their home page. I'm not gonna pay $2.99 for that. Plus your still entering data by hand and now you haft to scroll up and down to see what you want on your character sheet. With the new OS you could do so much more! I'm not gonna tell you though, cause as you can see by the title, my ideas are my own. The fly in the ointment is Apple charges $99 dollars for the basic developer license and software, and the software is OS X compatible only. I don't have $99 dollars, and I don't have a Mac.
