Jamie LeeSo, I've got just over a week until I meet Jamie Lee Curtis at Horror Hound Weekend. I'm so excited and I know it's worth it but jeez, do I feel like I'm jumping through some hoops. First, had to order autograph vouchers online beforehand. No hopping in line to meet her. I'll have a time interval in which to do so, which they'll announce over the PA. And if I miss that mark, I'm screwed. The vouchers were very expensive for just an autograph. She's donating all the money to a children's hospital so that makes it more than worth it. Honestly, if she was pocketing the money, I'd still pay it. It's Jamie Lee Curtis! Of course I'll pay....

Honestly, if she was pocketing the money, I'd still pay it. It's Jamie Lee Curtis! Of course I'll pay. But I guess a lot of other people feel the same way. The demand has been pretty high. Higher than they thought. Autograph vouchers for day 1 are sold out, day 2 are almost sold out and the tickets just to get into the show (not for anything to do with Jamie Lee) are will-call only now. I'm glad I noticed. I'd be meeting Jamie Lee but not able to do anything else. No vender room, no other opportunities to meet semi-celebrities, no wandering around with a big, stupid grin on my face, looking at cool stuff I can't afford to buy. This is the most complicated horror con I've ever seen. But I shouldn't be surprised. It's Jamie Lee Curtis. The extent to which this event is rare is absolutely stunning. And I'll be there.
