Have PAX Flu, but the Timing's not bad
So just got back from Pax. We're all sick. Something about the swine flu or some such shit. Dr decided he needed to stick a giant cue tip up my nose to poke my brain with in order to find out 5 days later if I've got it or not.... Luke, you may have the right idea not getting tested and just staying home for the next couple of weeks to recover... Hoping I didn't give the bacon virus to my co-workers before being told to get the hell out today. While shutting shit down and packing stuff up, I heard (are you still here) like 5 times.
Other than that though, was an awesome weekend. 3 Days just isn't enough to even come close to doing and seeing everything that there is to do there. Loved the some of the new games coming out, the mornings of drinking overdose levels of energy drinks (Ashley had so many one morning she was having what would closest resemble a mushroom trip), the days of walking around trying the games, exploring all the different booths, being bombarded by swag everywhere I went (I swear, if they gave away promotional pants, I would never have to buy clothes again - 34 waist, 32 long if anyone is insane enough to do that), the nights of drinking my face off till the wee hours of the morning, then waking up a couple of hours later to do it all over again. The weekend of self-abuse in general.
The rooster-teeth panel was Awesome, even managed good seats (pondering what the craziest thing that someone will ask to be signed next year will be.... it might be a water-buffalo?)
Managed to help Lina get a new tire on the last day, some screw on the road got excited decided to fuck the old one, no dinner, movie, nothing... Picked up a bunch of Jagger and smokes at the Duty free shop coming back accross the border. Which brings us back to the now renamed Nerd Flu not having bad timing. Takes about 2 weeks to recover and not be contageous anymore if we did in fact catch Porkies Pig Poking Pathagens, which happens to be exactly when we're supposed to be holding the next Death By Booze Badminton Tournament!!! I'm all stocked up and ready to go. See you all there :)
