Female from Tokyo, Japan I'm from London, England and I lived there my whole life up until a year and a half ago when I moved to Japan to become an English teacher. Before this I worked as a personal trainer and a body double, a job which I am hoping to go back to someday. I have a Science degree, majoring in Forensics, although towards the end I got a little bored and threw a Creative Writing module in for good measure. I have lots of hobbies, likes and dislikes, so I won't bore you with the details. But I am here to make friends, so if you want to chat feel free to send me a message!
Teaching English, the Japanese way....OK, so being an English teacher in Japan is a great job, although you do have to be pretty genki to do it, especially when you are teaching kids. However, I stumbled on a series today, that aims to teach 'practical' English to Japanese adults. I have to say that it puts my teaching to shame and takes crazy to a whole new level. I particularly like the last sentance they learn. Maybe I should incorporate their aerobics routines into my classes. What do you think? :) Zuiikin' English - click here!
