Things are better.
I've no idea how long since the last time I was here on the RVB site. A few years at least, things definitely changed since the last time I was gone. First of all the load time is much faster, so I get they got more servers up. Secondly I see a lot more new and creative people in the community, and it's always good and exciting to see cool people around.
Coming back here sure brought up a lot of good old memories, some good, some bad. Especially in my profile images. It reminds me of the time me and my ex-gf watched the first season of rvb together, and of course the many memories I had with me and my ex. I can still smell the shitty-ness of my old apartment and how messy it was with all the wire and my 360 setup. Now I live in a better, less shitty apartment in LA, but still in the same category for shitty apartments.
Wow 2005 was a long time ago, yet it feels like yesterday. For those of you who happens to read this, let me tell you a bit about me. I found out about rvb in the summer of 2003 and it was love at first sight. They were about 5 episode deep in their first season at the time. I signed up in the old, old, alpha, beta forums as "mist0r_wiggles" (if you knew me since then, you can have all the cookies in the world) and if you ever wondered who started the whole "political movement" on the rvb forum, I'll like to take the blame for that, although I was never a major contributer to the topic I started back then, but I was the created it and I kept up with it as long as could, till we moved to the new "profile style forum" thingy.
So, I'm glad to come back for a visit, and thank GOD they finally improved the load speed of this site. I don't think I'll change anything on my profile and these pictures, hoping that 20-50 years from now, I can come back and realize where I burnt most of my college years on, and how great of a time I had.
p.s. TO Retarded Death Monkey, or RDM (or whatever the hell you call yourself these days). I would just like to tell you that the flame war you had with me about politics was epic. I don't think I ever got so pissed off from a guy on the internet before, but that was still fun, and I knew that deep down inside, you were really just a retarded death monkey.
