Things that have happened since November:

Witnessed my best friend from high school, Mindy, get married in New Jersey. Brian and I made it an extended trip and spent a few days in NYC. We made the whole trip on mass transit. It was quite an adventure hauling our stuff all over NYC and New Jersey.

My cousin/roommate moved out. (Sooooo glad that drama ended.) Found a new roommate. She's from Paris, France. She'll be living with me until the end of September when her internship ends and she goes back to France to graduate. We became fast friends, and its been wonderful having her live with me.

Watched my "little" brother graduate from college. I ran into Red and Japan there. It was wondeful to see the two of them, if only for a few minutes before the program started.

My best friend from college, Cassandra, got herself engaged. She's getting married this October, so wedding planning is in full swing. Oh, and I'm a bridesmaid.

I essentially took over the struggling video department at my church. I guess I'd call myself the technical director of the services. We've currently filming all of them. I'm currently working on training the camera people and building the equipment side of things. Its a bit of a battle as there's pretty much no budget and I'm constantly butting heads with older folk in the congregation. But, I have the full backing of the Assistant Pastor and a number of other people, so I'm secure that I've got a lot of people behind me.

My church is also starting a second service in September that will be aimed at younger folk. I'm very excited and am helping out with the plans as much as I can. Its nice to shake things up. You can't imagine how hard it is to move a plant on the platform in the sanctuary, let alone start a whole new service with entirely different music, etc. Its been quite a battle and its not done yet.

Brian is currently taking his architecture exams. There's 7 and tomorrow will be his second one. We're talking about getting engaged after he's done...lots of talking. Its just "wait and see" right now. No decisions until he's done.

As for work, I'm still stuck in the same crap job. I've been actively applying for jobs and going on interviews. No luck yet. Everything's turned up a dead end.

I'm still looking at going back to school so I can have something more to work with than my BA. I haven't been able to make up my mind on exactly what I want to study or where...I'm getting closer to a decision. Its just taking a bit of research and thinking things through carefully.

So I hope that'll get you guys up to speed on my life right now. I hope you all are well.
