So different shit, same day...
I can start off with some great news since the last journal entry we have gotten rid of the bad leadership and new operational manager is implamenting new policy he believes will make us more efficent. One of the major complaints that the officers that have been here since the begining is that they are getting burned out and don't have time to handle personal issues like banking and what not. Now keep inmind we are working 12 hours a day everyday, so keep us from snapping the leadership has implimented an new policy of work 30 days get 2 days off. This way we can do what we need and have some to explore the area. The leadership is also starting to get rid of the officers that have been causing problems, of course dome of them have been helping and just packing there stuff and leaving without telling anyone. The leadership also got us out of that horrible hotel, it looks like we are staying here for the duration. Which means I can give out the address to those that need it soon.
So personally I have been moving around alot, I was on day shift at one location then the major wanted me on night shift to fill in for guys that we talking their two days off. One of the individuals was the night supervisor which is the Leutenant slot, I did the job so well that I got praise from the major and the rest of my leadership. It was also suggested to me that if they move this LT out of the deployment, which is a likely thing since he f-up on regular basis, that I would pickup the slack. Well when he came back and heard how great I did he felt threatened and started doing the high school bull sh t and trying to run me into the ground to the leadership. I'm not sure if it worked or not my leadership sent me to Panama City, FL for two days to work in a BP office as a precaution for the spokeperson. I did so well that the spokeperson wanted to keep as her permanent officer but a captain in the company was already slotted for that post so they brought me back to Orange Beach. So here I am on day shift again just sitting flying a kite and making no unauthorized personnel come into this staging area which is easy since their is alot of large equipment moving around most people won't come in because they are they will get run over also by now the word is out where the headquarters is so most just go there for the answers. As for the LT most of the night shift are fed up with him and want a change so we will see were that goes.
