My Good Friend Put this on gateworld. I admit SGU had its flaws, and I agreed at first with many viewers that this was not worthy of the Stargate name, however in the past 2 years I have seen SGU go from a terrible Stargate show…to the only Stargate show, True even now I still dont think its Stargate, but at least it had a Stargate, I have met many many others who now wish SGU would stay on the air, the story line is intense and keeps putting you on the edge of your seat like the past 5 episodes, they had a good line going.
Many people have to admit not every SG1 and SGA episodes were perfect, but this was a new way to envison stargate and although it will never feel like it used to much like many things in the past decade, things change weather or not they change for the better is up to those who accept it.
I love every Stargate Series. it showed people a true aspect of Sci-Fi, it inspired people to do amazing things and to imagine a world that keeps going and going, It showed all of us that there is more to just this world….figuratively. It showed us in SG1 that better understanding of others means the better understanding of ourselves, in SGA it shows that no matter who we are and no matter where, we still stand as equals. SGU…..well I havent seen enough of it to bring together a moral of it yet.
but it still stands, SGU may not have been perfect but it had a Stargate in it….no other franchise can say that.
