yeah thanks, I was lucky to sit in it, I also got a picture of me in a Nissan GTR. I have pictures in my journal. Thats an awesome profile pic. Jayne is a riot.
I do not think the Mass Effect costume needs fiberglass, that is just to much work and heavy. Take your old wet suit, apply foam rubber swatches to give it the correct color combination, you can get foam rubber in many colors, all you need is a flat black or a very dark Grey, then you can layer them together to get the correct stripped pattern. For the "hard bits" get some Plexiglas or thin Mylar film (Home Depot/Loews sells Plexiglas) and a Micheal's or similar crafts store should have Mylar film or even the inside of a Mylar balloon. That adds the context of the hard part. You can paint Plexiglas, put the paint on the side closest to the material and it will not scratch off. i.e. pain the inside, leave the outside clear.
LOL I actually have a Russian friend who cosplays the female Russian Sniper from RA3. She is trying her darndest to get me to cosplay that red alert 3 costume in my journal. Compared to the other female characters it's the least skanky, but it's still..Yeah.
Neoprene, hmm that's a really good idea. Would be much cheaper than what I was considering. I know of fiberglass and of molding with other stuff. I could easily use foam sheets with neoprene and maybe do a thin layer of fiberglass or another material over it to give it that armor-y look.
Mass Effect would be the most expensive probably, or the Big Sister costume. Those two are the biggest investments for supplies.
I think I'm going to work on a Juno cosplay (would be SO easy) and perfect the STALKER stuff I have while beginning to formulate plans on a Mass Effect outfit. It is clearly the winnah
Ok I definitely think I need to post a new journal just to clarify the beads statement...I really was a good girl...I was...honest!!
It would be nice to avoid said person that wishes I was gone but alas seeing as they are family I doubt that would be happening anytime in the near future...or ever really. Sadface =(
And I would avoid the stairs but at school there are too many people that crowd into the elevators so I avoid those...I get claustrophobic when people are touching me that I don't know.
Also in reply to your comment below...I love psychology...it's one of my favorite classes to take so I'm sure I can learn a lot. And since you've read it I'll be sure to ask you if there is something I just don't understand. =)
