...That was freaking amazing. I've never watched nor cared for MLP before... you may have just convinced me it is worth watching... at least with some RvB music in the background. Good Luck.
Pretty cool but a lot of the movement felt floaty and spastic. And that blob thing at the beginning looked very twitchy. (just curious but what software did you use for this? and was that blob thing a fluid sim?) Aside from that the interior shots were pretty dark. Other than that, great presentation!
The character movement was more of a problem with time and when I was able to start on the contest. The programs I used were mostly Cinema 4D, and After Effects. As for the blob it was just a sphere with a sound reactor deforming it to the beat.
Oh? I've never seen a deformer that reacts to sound files, that pretty cool! (I work primarily in maya, and I don't think maya has anything like that.) But yeah, overall really nice!
No no, I honestly didn't see your post as insulting or anything. I actually agree that alot of the shots are very basic animations, I just wanted to explain why they were like that.
It's like when you say why something doesn't work to most people online they flip out and bite your face off. Anyone with an artistic background (like animation, in our example) usually takes the criticism as constructive. There's always something to improve on! :D
This is soo good man, but did you make they dealine and will they care. According to the upload date you missed it... ....well hopefully for you they dont care because this is Freaking awesome blew mine totaly out of the water!!!!
nice vid btw

i Believe so, I uploaded it before the dead line (like 30 min before) but I think it was reviewed and posted after.
Thank you
It was Cinema 4D for the models, and After Effects for the lighting and color.
