It's cool even if it's a bit weird, but that's just mah preference.

Curious, in what way is it weird? No one's ever described it as such to me. I like knowing what is thought of my music.

Ninja, that was kinda cool. I think R7 is referring to the third guitar part that seems a little jangly compared the clean picking of the rest.

It's nice a crisp though ... what did you use to record it (guitar and setup)?

Ah yes, I think there was a bit of Spanish guitar influence in that faster bit. Or do you mean the slide part? That's still a bit sloppier than I'd like, but it's hard to be that precise with a slide. Everything was done on a Morgan Monroe Blues 32 a few inches away from a Samson USB mic. I started with the main melody and slide harmony, added the lower thumb-picked part and the higher stummed part, put in the bass part on the bottom string, and then added light strums that go from the left to right speaker with a slight flanging effect. All six parts were recorded in about 15-20 minutes, though I have redone the slide part a few times since. While the other parts are a little sloppy here and there, I'd rather stick with them because they were all in the moment. (The slide part was too sloppy, and is too central to the song to be very sloppy)

[The original recording was done the night Episode 9 of this season was released, after welcoming back Kathleen with John Sebatien's theme from Welcome Back Kotter and inspiration struck. I have intended this for RT ever since.]

Cool ... that's pretty clean and clear for a Samson USB mic ... good job.

Thanks! I try. This one was pretty easy because it was an even volume the whole time. Most of my other recordings vary more in dynamics.
