Summer FinalsI did it!! I finished my first summer semester. Well, kind of, I have three exams the next three days.

Not completely applicable, but oh-so-sexy:

Have y'all seen Drive? That's a great movie.

On another procrastinatingly great point (yes I know that's not a word), I saw Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter recently. It's exactly what I expected, so I was very impressed. It's worth a go if you buy a bucket of beer and take it into the theater.

My last final is Wednesday, and my new classes start Thursday. I just have to keep telling myself it will be worth it a year from now.............

Okay, fine. Bye guys. Hope you RTXers had fun!

Buy my RTX ticket!Hi everyone, I know it's been a while since you've seen me, and I'm also sorry that I have bad news. Well, it will be good for someone, I hope.
A lot has been going on lately, and unfortunately this weekend I have to go up to Houston on family business. This means I need to sell my RTX badge. I'm in San Antonio, TX, and I'm selling it for $40 if you pick it up. More if you want me to drive to you.

Someone, please buy this ticket. I'd hate to see a paid-for spot to go to waste! Please! Someone!

I hate that I won't be able to go, but I don't despair, knowing that someone will receive the chance to go in my place.

Message me, FB me, comment here, whatever. Just buy this ticket.

SOLD! Thank you namauri

HerroAs you know, I'm taking classes this summer so I can graduate in 1 year from now. Whoopdeedoo. But I wouldn't be telling the truth if I said my attention wasn't directed elsewhere - I've just been finding some really great stuff to look at on the internet.
Important stuff.
Stuff like...

1.
lol

and

2.
I like that shit, too! Well, cheap shit. Wal mart sometimes. Like, for buying bottled water or pants.

and this article,

3. because wouldn't we all secretly like to revenge-grope a TSA agent?

I hope you guys are being more productive than I am.

What I'm learning in summer schoolIn my Foundations of Music class, I learned that musicians have a bigger brain than people of other professions.

My brain is bigger than yours, bitches! It's science!

Actually, I'm blowing this way out of proportion. Only PARTS of my brain are bigger. Not the whole thing.

But still. Suck it.

My favourite things:Okay. I've been feeling a lot of love for several things that have come out recently, and I thought I should share some of those things with you guys.

Best for first:
Let's Pretend This Never Happened by The Bloggess, aka Jenny Lawson. This book is exhaustingly funny. If you don't know who The Bloggess is, please go read her blog right now. This is the funniest woman on the internet. I would suggest reading this one, this one, and this one. Of course, there are so many others.
Some of my favorite highlights of her book are:

"MAKE ME SOME BASKETTI."

"I'm-simply-too-unstable-to-know-how-pants-work-today."

"It's twins."
"It's triplets."
"It's a Republican."
"It's a small bear."

"No! We don't talk about vibrators to clergy men!"

And many others. I mean, how many memoirs do you read where the author explains what her vagina looks like using a car analogy? I suppose if I were to do that, I'd say it's like my Scion xB. Not much to look at on the outside, but really comfy once you get inside.

Next: I've had some pretty embarrassing auto-corrects on my phone, involving wieners and Jesus. But this website, www.damnyouautocorrect.com/ , makes mine seem not so bad... here's one of my favorites:

And finally: The Avengers. Namely, Thor. Or you can call him The Huntsman. I think those are the only names he goes by. Oh, and also Chris. But that's not as exciting.

I thought Snow White and the Huntsman was great. Charlize Theron's role was supposed to be bat shit crazy. People said they didn't like how she threw tantrums, or how she played the role of a woman who believed beauty and power are the only things that matter - um, YEAH, that's why they portrayed her as fucking insane. To tell people that's not right. I thought it was great.

But there was that one chick in it that sucked. You know, Snow White. The character would have been great if played by anyone else! Thank God the script had her keep her mouth shut half the time (figuratively, of course, since she doesn't actually know how to close her mouth). She made me feel like I'd be a great actress.

Anyway, hope you enjoy these great things! Rhombus!

Zombies.I've never been afraid of zombies, and I've always thought people that lived their lives around the zombie apocalypse were really annoying. Zombie movies are cool, but they're nothing more than hardcore fantasy movies.

A few days ago, my friend Ryan ruined my life by telling me, in great detail, about the zombie in Florida. Now, I like horror and action movies, and I really don't have an issue with the gore in them. But I can't handle real-life gore. I can't watch people fight, I can't hear about some batshit crazy mother killing her family, and I sure as hell can't hear about a person eating a dead person's face without feeling sick. When I hear/see things like that, they stick with me and I can't get the image out of my head.

Then, one day, I read this journal (thank you Joel), and my life was ruined even more. It's happening everywhere - contagious flesh-eating viruses, bad strains of acid that make people lose their minds, and people admitting to eating brains. What the hell? Last night I started being a bit irrational, and I went and bought five boxes of 36 water bottles and a large carving knife. Then I got home and read this article (thank you Chris). Fuck! Is this an irrational fear? Or has everyone else been right and I've been dreadfully wrong?

Lock your doors, people. You never know.

So, you know how...you start cleaning your room and you think to yourself, "Man, I need some awesome music to get me in the mood." So you put on some music, and then you start kind of dancing...

and then it gets a little more intense, and in your head you look awesome!

But then you see yourself in a mirror, and it's a bit more like this.

and then you realize you haven't done anything in two hours?

That's what I just did. What have you done today?
