My favourite things:Okay. I've been feeling a lot of love for several things that have come out recently, and I thought I should share some of those things with you guys.
Best for first:
Let's Pretend This Never Happened by The Bloggess, aka Jenny Lawson. This book is exhaustingly funny. If you don't know who The Bloggess is, please go
read her blog right now. This is the funniest woman on the internet. I would suggest reading
this one,
this one, and
this one. Of course, there are so many others.
Some of my favorite highlights of her book are:
"MAKE ME SOME BASKETTI."
"I'm-simply-too-unstable-to-know-how-pants-work-today."
"It's twins."
"It's triplets."
"It's a Republican."
"It's a small bear."
"No! We don't talk about vibrators to clergy men!"
And many others. I mean, how many memoirs do you read where the author explains what her vagina looks like using a car analogy? I suppose if I were to do that, I'd say it's like my Scion xB. Not much to look at on the outside, but really comfy once you get inside.
Next: I've had some pretty embarrassing auto-corrects on my phone, involving wieners and Jesus. But this website,
www.damnyouautocorrect.com/ , makes mine seem not so bad... here's one of my favorites:

And finally: The Avengers. Namely, Thor. Or you can call him The Huntsman. I think those are the only names he goes by. Oh, and also Chris. But that's not as exciting.

I thought Snow White and the Huntsman was great. Charlize Theron's role was
supposed to be bat shit crazy. People said they didn't like how she threw tantrums, or how she played the role of a woman who believed beauty and power are the only things that matter - um, YEAH, that's why they portrayed her as fucking insane. To tell people that's
not right. I thought it was great.
But there was that one chick in it that sucked. You know, Snow White. The character would have been great if played by anyone else! Thank God the script had her keep her mouth shut half the time (figuratively, of course, since she doesn't actually know how to close her mouth). She made me feel like I'd be a great actress.
Anyway, hope you enjoy these great things! Rhombus!
