So I came home one night to find my computer not on. and then when I booted it up, it would quit during bios. So opened it up and found my heat sink laying on my video card. I have a large heatsink=>
The shitty mounting bracket that came with the board broke from the wight of holding that thing up for nearly a year. So I got a new one, which I think'll hold.
by the way, anyone agree with me that a full tower might be a good idea? not much room to move around in there.

college
so, finals are coming up, which means I"ve got to catch up on all the work I"ve been procrastinating on. one my courses Cmilt004 (East Asian Literature) has a lot of shit I have to read. Here's an excerpt from a story that comes out of post WWII Vietnam (don't know if it's before or after the Vietnam war though):
One night 1 was reading the Russian magazine, Sputnik, when my father came in quietly. 'I want to discuss something
with you,' he said. I made some coffee which my father didn't drink. 'Have you been paying attention to what Thuy's been doing?' he asked. 'It gives me the creeps.'
The Maternity Hospital where my wife worked carried out abortions. Every day, she put the aborted foetuses into a Thermos flask and brought them home. Mr Co cooked them for the dogs and pigs. 1 had in fact known about this, but overlooked it as something of no importance. My father led me out to the kitchen and pointed to a pot full of mash in which there were small lumps offoetus. 1 kept silent. My father cried. He picked up the Thermos flask and hurled it at the pack of Alsatians: 'Vile! 1 don't need wealth that's made of this!' The dogs barked. My father went off up to the house. My wife came in and spoke to Mr Co: 'Why didn't you put it through the meat grinder? Why did you let Father see it?' Mr Co stammered: 'I forgot, I'm sorry, Aunt.'
WTF Mate.

Fable 2
Fable 2's pretty cool, but it's a bit short. It seems like all those side quests are there only to distract you from the main quest and extend it. The Fable 1 story was deffinately better, and had cooler weapons and spells. It seems like blades, inferno, and lightning all do the same thing. Oh well, it's still a good game, I'm probably just being picky.
I found out how to use the microphone boost on my computer. Now I can talk in Quake Wars. Which is good, cause I play that a lot.
And Melty Blood. I play Melty Blood alot too.
And now I'm ubsessed with this 2D Card Captor Sakura fighting game (it's a doujin game, Card Hunter Sakura 2). Not really the game itself, but fucking with it's code, cause the damn thing is fucking unstable. The main files I need to mess with are MVS, PPD, RCF, DLL, and of course DAT.

After years of waiting, I've finally gotten to vote while wearing my "Politics makes me so horny" shirt. Hurrah!
Also, I'm going to the movies tonight with a cute girl. I know, I'm confused too. Possibly another sign of the apacolypse.
Oh yea, and arm youselves now so you can resist Obama's civilian defense force. In case you don't know what civilian defense force is, It's basically a well armed private military of the nation's leader that exists outside the real military's chain of command. The Gestapo was the civilian defense force Hitler created.

So, I've been awal for awhile and have a disgusting watch list to go through (I probably never will). Anywho, I've got nothing better to do, so here's some pictures of the manga I've been gathering (118). and some games and anime and shit. Cause I'm really, really bored.

Otakon
Went to Otakon. Spent money. Behold shwag!
Japanese manga:
Ranma 1/2 on VHS. I think I out nerded myself last weekend, have to cancel it out with some good 'ol fashioned football!
And so, I go back to State College at then end of this week. Thank god. So, let's see how my summer progressed.
