GameflySo I've been thinking about doing for quite a few months now, but wasn't sure. With my budget constraints the way they've been I really haven't had the cash to go purchase any video games, with the exception of Grand Theft Auto thanks to the economic stimulus check GW sent me.
Today though I saw that they had a trial offer for the first month for 5.95. Ok, no big deal, except they also give you 400 MS points, that's what tipped the scales for me. The way I figure it, for $16 a month I can play all the games I want and not have to buy any and I'll be able to play games that I was kinda hesitant to buy because I wasn't sure I'd like them.
GTA IV adviceGetting the One Man Army and Under the Radar achievements are pretty easy and can easily be done at the same time. To start go to the airport and steal the helicopter, or if you're to the point where the helitour is available steal one of their helicopters and then fly to western part of the city to get a 6 star wanted level and then proceed to start flying under the bridges that cross the water ways of Liberty city. The nice part about the under the radar achievement is that the bridges you haven't flown under will be shown on the radar and map after you fly under one of them. While doing this it's extremely easy to avoid the cops, even the police helicopters. I even took out one of the police helicopters with the tour chopper by hitting the police choppers tail rotor with my main rotor, it basically cut off the tail of the police chopper.
Anyone have any tips for easy GTA IV achievements?
Bella...After my console got the RROD Sarah said she would buy me a new one since our anniversary was coming up next month and it's something we both use. And I told her I could sell the old one on ebay once it got back from Microsoft. So we went to Target, she opened up a charge card there and got ten percent off the xbox. So on a whim we went over to Petsmart to see if they were doing an adoption drive or anything, sure enough they were. Well we ended up leaving with this little girl...
She's part Boston Terrier, part Dachshund. She's a year and a half old, energetic(apparently she was too energetic for her original owners, that why she was at the rescue), housebroken and very cuddly.
We're technically doing a week long temporary foster care, but things are looking pretty good for us keeping her. The only thing we're still worried about is the interaction with the cat. The cat has been in hiding pretty much ever since we brought the dog home yesterday. So we're not sure how that's gonna work out yet.
It really just felt like someone was moving around in the bed for an extended period of time. It was however enough to knock over a picture frame on one of the bookshelves. Kinda eerie. Couldn't fall back to sleep for a little while.
Rockin! So I got Rockband. I succumbed to the phenomena. It's friggin awesome though.
I played it when I was back home a few weeks ago. My brother got it and a couple of our friends came over to play and we played for hours. It was a lot of fun and it's a good thing to play over XBL. So we're gonna try rocking out this weekend. I just got the game, not the whole bundle. I got a sealed copy off ebay for less than $40 shipped.
My girlfriend and I were playing tonight just doing the singing. She's a hell of a lot better than me, you know, mostly cause she can sing.
