HEATWAVEIts hot here right now. The past few days we have had 43+ºC days! (Thats 110+ºF) Yesterday was the hottest where it peaked at 45 here - and thats in the shade at our front door! Today is a bit better at 36ºC and it will cool down over the weekend. Next week will be another scorcher though .
I sound like a weatherman...
There are huge fires about 30km away to the northeast. Currently, according to the CFA they have burned nearly 6000 hectares and a dozen homes. Last Thursday my brother and I came back from Traralgon but got diverted on the way home because of the fires.
Back......from my trip overseas. I went with a friend to the Solomon Islands. Was awesome. We spent heaps of time in the jungle hiking and camping. It was quite an interesting place. Very different culture to Australia.
Anyways, I couldnt be bothered writing much. Happy belated new year everyone. Have a great 2008.
