Red vs. Blue Season 11I must have it now! June 14th is not close enough...
I'm going to have to force all my RvB friends to catch up on the show so that i can talk about it again when it comes out... better go find my bat, some of my friends will need encouragement 
Supanova is next month also and the wait for that is killing me... i think it's time i put myself in stasis for a couple of weeks... could one of you please open the freezer door for me on the 13th so i can thaw out. Thanks.

Hmm.. look at the time...It's been a month since i posted anything here though it feels more like a year, I've been so busy lately that i just haven't had much time to visit my favorite site.
Not a lot if going on in my life mind you, mostly the same old stuff but in larger quantities... though i am looking forward to Supanova in a little over a month, it's going to be great. So far there's at least 4 people in my group going and I'll be meeting another one there, cant wait.
Now i just have to make sure i have enough money for the weekend, which wouldn't be a problem if my motorbike registration wasn't this month and i still need to replace the break lever before i have it inspected for registration... but I'll work something out, i always do.
How's everyone been? anyone from Australia going to Supanova Sydney?

Haven't we been here before?I've been looking for a new job for the past few months and i can't believe that there are actually no jobs out there I'm qualified for... None, Zero... Not a single one, which is a big surprise to me as there has always been at least a few i could apply for. Think i need to increase my skill set.
In other news I've been lazily planning for Supanova, i've decided to take the Friday off and go down during the day instead of rushing down there Saturday morning. This means a two night stay so I'll probably stay in an apartment instead of a small hotel like last year.
My only problem now is getting people to come, though there will be at least one person there i know i would still like to get a few people from my area to go as well. Though i don't know a lot of people and i know ever fewer people who would be interested in going, couple that with work schedules and it's a slim number of candidates.

Tornado!Third day with no air con at work and today's event might see me in Oz... The bosses solution to no air con is fans, lots of fans. So now we have 3 fans and a little portable air con unit pushing air around the office in one direction, everything not nailed down is being thrown around but hey on the bright side it is getting a little cooler in here.
Windy, Noisy and super distracting but cooler.
Some guys came by this morning to look at the air con and they left with bad news, news which the landlord wasn't happy with and wants a second opinion... so i don't think we are going to have air con in this office for a couple of weeks which is great... oops sorry it's so hot i forgot to add the sarcasm.
it's still like 15 degrees (C) cooler outside then in the office and i don't know if I'll be able to take it much longer...

It's So Freaking HOT!So back at work today, the news on the air con is that the pump fried and they need to make an access hole in the roof to repair it... until then we have no air con in this office... which is filled with constantly running Dev. machines and servers...
In case you don't understand what that means, every computer in this office generates a little heat so with about 20 running 24/7 and nothing to cool this small office down with it becomes a sweat box... and i'm stuck here all day.
The boss brought in a couple of fans but he nicely placed them facing his office so they do nothing for this area. I wish i had brought in a desk fan now cos my brain is melting and it's only 19 degrees (C) outside... i'd work better if i could work outside in the rain today 
I apologize if this post has become an unreadable rant, i'm having troubles concentrating.

Is that smoke?So I'm working from home today, about 10am this morning while I'm working away at some boring crap i smell a peculiar smell... I look up and from out of the air con unit smoke is billowing forth!
At first i thought the roof might have been on fire there was so much smoke but as soon as the air con was turned off the smoke stopped too, it also had a strong electrical smell to it and after a few minutes no more smoke could be seen so no fire.
But still the whole office smelt like the point right above a soldering iron whilst it melts solder so there was no way we were staying in there all day, i felt sick just standing out in the staircase. And there was no way to flush the smoke from the room as the windows don't open and there is only one door that leads into the stairwell.
So all in all i felt a little sick for a bit and now i get to work with no pants on so it was worth it
