Not quite dead yet....Now that my computer is finally up to snuff again, and I'm taking a break from school (therefore sleeping a full 8 hours occasionally) I figured I'd update again.
Is it just me or have most folks moved on from this site? At the very least most of my old RvBMN buddies are either no-shows or only log on once every few weeks/months.

Anyway, not much is going on for me. I'm still working my bank job, and another school year has started which means I'll soon be back at the high-school tutoring a brand new set of 10th and 12th graders.

I has a virusMy computer has been taken over by a malignant force making it impossible to boot up, just in time for a major school project that needs to be done by Monday. To explain my feelings about the situation and toward this hacker I have invited a guest star to elaborate...

ReflectionSeason 9 is looking to be awesome judging by episode 1. And while I lost sleep so that I could watch the early sponsor release I got to thinking about how Red vs Blue has effected my life.
* Red vs Blue is what keeps me awake through data entry at 3AM.
* Red vs Blue has inspired my writing.
* Red vs Blue is how I finally gave in and got into Halo.
* Red vs Blue is how I met a pair of my best friends. (Cheers Jen and Eric!)
* Red vs Blue gave me something to look forward to during some pretty dark and hopeless times.
So hats off to the entire staff of Rooster Teeth.
Looking forward to another thrilling and epically funny season.

Not Bad...I got a check in the mail from my school for $500.
Not too shabby.
It's almost like they're bribing me to stay at Metro State and not transfer to Winona State...

Don't Tell My Mother....Things have been going too well this week, so fingers crossed that I don't die in a fiery explosion before next week.
First off, after working my ass off and surviving on 10 or so hours of sleep a week for the last weeks of the semester I got my grades back all A's.  I apparently has the smart... who knew.
Urban Curriculum and Practicum A
Urban Teaching Practicum Seminar A
The Arts in Education A
Politics of Resistance and Protest A-
I also managed to sell back all my textbooks this semester before the buyback quota was reached. They were originally paid for by my grant so that's $110 bucks pure profit.
Secondly I received a letter in the mail yesterday accepting me to Winona State University starting Spring 2012, which is a much better school and just happens to be in my old home town of Winona, MN. Their teaching program is one of the best in the state! My GPA was so good that they sent me information on several academic scholarships in addition to my full ride grant, so a new laptop or desktop may be on the docket in 2012.
I'm looking forward to quitting my two jobs and leaving my lonely apartment and heading home to focus on school and being close to my family again. (Of course I'll still come up to the cities to hang out / game Eric  )
And so to celebrate and reward myself.... Interesting hair again....finally!!
Sssssshhhhhh, don't tell my mother.

MarathonIt feels like my life has turned into a marathon lately...
I'm always running from one obligation to the next.
Right now I'm in the final weeks in my college semester so homework is only crazier than ever as I have to get everything that I've had to put off in order to sleep done.
So while I check the site, (and re-watch the season 9 trailer again and again ) I'll continue to be fairly quiet.
