Red vs. Blue Season 11 TrailerLadies and Gentlemen, Reds and Blues, the wait is almost over.

Season 11 of the popular web series, Red vs. Blue will officially premiere on Friday, June 14th, 2013. That should give you folks just enough time to call shotgun, pick up chicks in a tank, and come up with a third hilarious reference!

We understand, however, that waiting can be difficult. SO, we've got an excellent RvB11 Teaser Trailer for you RIGHT HERE (you might even recognize the voices of a few familiar friends of ours).

So check it out, and then check your calendar, because Flag Day will be here before you know it.

The Reds are ready, the Blues are on the brink, and it's time to pick a side.

Because it's Red vs. Blue.

World 1-2Hey RT,

So my good buddy Shane recently tipped me off to a new album called World 1-2, by Koopa Soundworks.

If you like video game music, you are in for a sweet, delicious, mouth-watering treat...that's also low in calories.

Here's a quote from the website:

World 1-2 is a music project directed and produced by Mohammed Taher of Koopa Soundworks. It's a collaboration album that combines young independent musicians with superstar composers from the video game industry. World 1-2 features a unique blend of original creations and nostalgia-dipped remixes. All proceeds generated from this album will go toward funding new projects by Koopa Soundworks. We hope you enjoy World 1-2 as much as we enjoyed making it!

Guys...it's beautiful. The album is 20 tracks long and only 10 dollars (and Jessica Curry's tribute to Dear Esther is one of my personal favorites).

Give it a listen, and if you like what you hear, support them!

Xbox Video Awards: UPDATEWell folks, the votes are in, and the award for Favorite Video Game in a Movie goes to…Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn.

Wah wahhhhh.

Sooooo we lost, but hey, if we had to lose to someone, we might as well lose to the crazy people at 343 who took on the challenge of making a live action Halo movie!

I had the pleasure of visiting the set of Forward Unto Dawn while they were still in the process of filming, and I gotta say, those are some dedicated Halo fans. Everyone was super cool, even when they were dressed head to toe in MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor.

Thank you to everyone who voted for us! Red vs. Blue has come a long way, and it’s all thanks to your constant love and support. And be on the lookout for some news on Red vs Blue Season 11 in the upcoming months! It’s going to make quite the splash…or should I say, crash.

WeirdAlright, RT, I'm about to share something with you that I've never told my closest friends (save for Arryn). The catch? You gotta read a long-ass journal post to find out what it is.

When I was a little kid, I loved to watch The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross. The man was just awesome and the things that he could make with a little titanium white and a paint brush were nothing short of phenomenal...but it wasn't what I saw that made me tune in every week, it was what I heard.

His voice was soft and soothing, and overall just pleasant to listen to. The scrape of his knife against the canvas gave me goosebumps. The entire show put me into a relaxed state. I later realized that I had this same sensation when getting my haircut. The snip of the scissors sent tingles down my spine. And at school, listening to the librarians whisper to one another had a similar effect.

It was weird.

From what I could tell, none of my friends found anything special about these moments. A haircut was tedious, the library was boring, and The Joy of Painting was television for old people.

I figured I was just weird, and thought nothing of it...until this past year.

I still don't know how it happened, but reddit.com (of all places) led me to something called ASMR. Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. There was an entire subreddit dedicated to this acronym, and I had no idea what it was. The page was filled with videos of people whispering into camera, grown men quietly assembling Legos, strangers "roleplaying" as barbers, doctors, and therapists. I didn't really understand any of it, but I knew that all of the videos gave me that same, relaxing, tingling sensation. And then, right there on the front page, I saw it. It was a video of Bob Ross.

I suddenly knew that I was still weird...but I wasn't alone in my weirdness.

Now I will frequently fall asleep listening to videos of some random person on the internet reading off a list of appetizers from a menu. I will storyboard to the sounds of an individual whispering meditation techniques. I'm even guilty of sitting on my couch and listening to a grown man explain to me the importance of fountain pens.

That kind of shit is just straight up weird and difficult to explain to friends and family.

So, why am I making a journal about this? Well, it's because I was browsing /r/asmr before bed when I stumbled upon this video. This guy made my night. He makes a lot of "whisper videos" for the asmr community, but this one...wow.

I realized I was sitting in bed, watching some guy in a tin foil hat "sign me up" for his top secret organization. This guy took the time out of his day to A) make props B) write a funny script C) record and edit a video, and D) upload this video, all so that a small group of people would hopefully enjoy it.

I want to give this man the most epic high-five ever attempted by man. Why?

Because he's weird and he digs it.

And you know what? I'm weird too. Come to think of it, my friends are probably all a little weird. And my girlfriend? Well, she can be weird. My co-workers? Definitely weird. Hell, I'd be willing to put money down and say you're weird too (after all, you did just take the time to read the late-night ramblings of a twenty-something on the internet).

...hm...weird.

Update on the #RTCQHey RT,

With The Gauntlet, RWBY, and RvB11 all on my plate for the foreseeable future, I figured I may not be able to spend as much time making journals like I used to. That being said, I am still interested in hearing from you guys and asking fun questions.

So, here's the plan! I'm still going to try and post Rooster Teeth Community Questions via my journal whenever I find the time. However, if I've got a quick little question on my mind and not a lot of time to write up a blog post, I'll just ask my Twitter followers and include the hash-tag #RTCQ (my handle is MilesLuna24).

You can reply to my Tweets, include the #RTCQ hash-tag, and then use the hash-tag to check out other people's answers. I'll even retweet some of the best responses I get.

Speaking of the #RTCQ, I just Tweeted a new question about chapter titles, so feel free to check it out!

Okay, I gotta jet! I've got a lot of footage to sort through, and we're doing a live podcast in about three hours! Thanks for the read, guys! As always, you rock.

#RTCQ Why Can't I Love you!?Guess who's back, RT?

Soooo it's been "a while" since I last posted an RT Community Question, and for that I am sorry. I missed you, Community. I really did. All those late nights, those long talks...I mean- comment threads. But hey, let's have some fun. I've got a question burning through my mind right now and I want to hear your answers!

What is something you've REALLY wanted to enjoy, but simply couldn't?

If you follow me on Twitter, then you'd know that my answer right now is the Assassin's Creed franchise. Seriously! In my opinion, AC2 has been the only good one, and that's just because it didn't suck as bad as the original! It's driving me bonkers! I want to like this game SO BAD. Everyone talks about it, everyone loves it, and people are losing their shit over AC3 (which I must admit, looks very interesting)! However, every time I talk myself into giving it "one more try" I find myself trudging through the game thinking "When the fuck is something fun going to happen...?"

*Whew!* I just had to get that off my chest! SO, it's now time for you (the coolest community on the planet) to vent about the one thing you want to love more than anything else, but just can't. Let it all out. In the meantime, I'm going to try and kill a few more Templars and see if it changes my feelings...fuck...I've got to climb some more buildings and shit.
