To the people of the internetHi.

My life has been quite similar to the last few journals I've posted. I've been looking for jobs, applying for jobs, and procrastinating from both.
The place I'm living at now keeps me pretty occupied, mainly because it's with my high school friend, but also because Winter is coming, so I'm finding wood not only for the fireplace we have in doors, but also the place that has been set up for an outdoor fire/bonfire.
I've changed phone providers so that now I have reception at home, which means I might be able to get onto Teamspeak more regularly, as internet was the main problem I couldn't get on.
Whacking Day came and went from Tapped Out, along with new buildings and characters, so I've been playing that heaps and now that I've whacked all the snakes away (or the Whacking Day update has run it's course and is now not available) I've once again edited my Springfield which should appear below.

I have so much fun unlocking new content for it and editing it all together in Photoshop, though I can't talk to people about it, because I know that it's an incredibly boring topic to talk about. However, more and more of my friends are finding their way into Tapped Out, which I find so awesome!!

A small update of sortsRecently I've been quite absent from here and TeamSpeak, living with my friend keeps me pretty occupied, plus I've made my new car roadworthy, got it insured and registered it. But more importantly I've updated my Springfield in Tapped Out. I've bought new buildings, unlocked more characters, and moved some people and things around.

I will get to your uploaded journals, links and pictures at some point in the future, trust me, I'll get to them, but it might be a while, I'm heading home to see the folks for Easter.
Also, I had my graduation ceremony today. That Bachelor of Medical Science is all mine!

And I think that's pretty cool.

Thanks for reading guys, I'll talk to you soon.

What's really importantYes I may have gone out and got drunk with my friends last night, yes I might be hanging out with another friend tomorrow, I might also be only about 3 days away from buying the giant popsicle stand in Tapped Out and yes I may have bought my first car today, but none of that is important, because today is the birthday of @Linh
So please, go over to her page and wish her a happy happy happy birthday, though it looks like people have already beaten me to it.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINH!!! You're quite

My boring life, and some other stuffI'm still working on my Springfield because I know how much you all care about it and a picture will be up in maybe 2 weeks. But lately I've spread out resumés to different labs around Canberra hoping to get that sweet Microbiologist position, though nothing yet. If worse comes to worse I may have to get some retail job to hold myself up until I get that nice sciencey job. Also, while I'm waiting to get a job, I'm using the money I gained from my summer job to get a car but it's tough to do so, I'm lucky to have a friend who wants to help me out. Aren't friends great? They sure are, you guys rule!

In other news, @runelady is well known throughout the site and is in need of help. If you can help, she would definitely appreciate it.

And if you want to help out @LepraSaun and @coolcaiti get to RTX, check this out

It's Tapped Out againSo if you don't want to hear about it, please feel free to make like a tree and get out of here.
I've moved some stuff around in accordance with the comments of my last journal and here is the updated picture:

It's not that much different to the old one, but still I think this is a better Springfield. When I've raised enough money to build the Escalator to Nowhere and the Popsicle Stick Skyscraper I'll post another picture, but that won't be for about another 3 weeks due to the outrageous costs of them both.

Is there anything else you think I should change?

My life in the past few weeksSince Boxing day, I've been working at an arcade centre for the summer holidays, but during that time I've been playing the hell out of The Simpsons Tapped Out as it's been updating each month since October. If you don't want to read about Tapped Out, please skip to the tl;dr.

Tapped Out is a game on the iPhone which is basically FarmVille but themed around The Simpsons, so you can make your own Springfield. The picture that follows is what happens when I've played it too much, are bored, have access to Photoshop and have quite a bit of time on my hands. It's the Springfield that I've made with all the characters that I've unlocked.

CLICK TO ENHANCE

If you love The Simpsons as much as I do, then I'm sure you would love to create your own Springfield. You start off with Homer and The Simpsons house, but you slowly unlock more and more buildings and characters with dialogue written specifically for the game. As you can see on the picture, it has heaps of buildings, and it contains heaps of the characters from the show, but there are also some new sound bites made for the game. I've been playing it so much in the year that I've had it and I highly recommend it with Homer's description of the game "It's life ruiningly fun"
The latest update was Valentine's Day based, (though there was the halloween update with zombies, and christmas one with snow and christmas quests) and this update also included the escalator to nowhere and the popsicle stick skyscraper, (no sign of the 50 foot magnifying glass though) but they're really bloody expensive, so I can't afford them right now which means I can't show it to you in the picture. Sorry.
In other news I passed my Bachelor of Medical Science and will receive the degree on the 27th of March, am very close to getting my first car and am living in Queanbeyan with my mate from high school. Blah. Blah. Blah.

tl;dr: I worked for the summer, played a game, successfully passed my degree, almost have a car, living in Queanbeyan and am looking for work.

Also, if you want, you can tell me what I've done wrong or right about my Springfield, I tried to keep it sort of in line with the show, but I'm sure there are a few errors now and again.

The new mod/like systemI completely understand if you disregard/ignore the things I like turning up in your watch lists, because I am doing that to all of yours.
Chances are there is a shit load because liking/modding things is what I do, I'm hoping that to stay stubborn and keep doing what I do won't cause people to hate me too much.

Procrastination and I go together like............a lime and a coconut. (Whoever gets that reference wins 10 imaginary Strutter points)

I've had 6 assessment items due in the last 5 weeks, so I've been working a lot, and so, because of that, I've been procrastinating a lot.
When I have assessment items due, I take measures to ensure that I can complete them, such as not playing my Xbox, spending less time on here and RoosterSpeak, and not watching the videos I have subscribed to on YouTube or my usual TV shows.
This method works great except that I fill the voids left by them with other things, such as playing stupid pointless games on my phone, watching other, random TV shows and random videos on YouTube, and sometimes can lead to me doing housework just so I can push off studying for longer. I can spend hours watching Cracked videos, or deleted scenes of Community, but if I turn on my Xbox, I know I'm wasting time.
It also seems to be that most of the activities I undertake while procrastinating are things that when I finish the assessment item, I don't even glance at.

So I ask you guys, do you have similar experiences when procrastinating, or are you good little boys and girls and get your work done with time to spare?
