JesusThree years since I last posted anything here. Kind of can't believe my profile still exists.
In the last three years I've been made redundant following the implosion of Realtime Worlds, worked a job I hated for three months, became a professional web developer and got back into the games industry. Also I'm getting married next week, which is very exciting and scary.
Not sure I can become active here again, though; feels like too long a break to get back into the community. Especially since I've not kept up with the videos, comics and in-jokes at all.

O haiIs anybody on my friends list still on here? I've just gone through a couple of profiles, and none of them seem to have had much activity over the past year.

I am still aliveStill in Dundee, still working at Realtime Worlds. Just bought a house, currently painting the back room so we can move all the boxes out of the living room. Coming down with a Death Cold that's been making its way around the office.
For more regular status updates, I'm on Twitter, and you should be too.

Georgia's HandEvery once in a while, I come across a song that sticks with me so completely that I can't help but listen to it on repeat for weeks.
Previous songs include Bear McCreary's All Along The Watchtower from Battlestar Galactica, Brandon Patton's What's The Worst That Could Happen?, a 15-minute rock operetta called Robot Candidate by Ben Krieger and more Jonathan Coulton songs than is probably healthy.
The latest one is Georgia's Hand by Glenn Case.

Dark Knight preview screeningsTaking place on July 23rd, two days before the general release.
Full list of participating (UK & Eire) cinemas is here. There's an awful lot of 'em, so chances are everyone in Britain will have seen the bloody thing before it's officially released on the 25th, but I'm still going to pretend that it's special that I get to see it early.

Jonathan Coulton is awesomeProbably known to most people as "the guy that did the song from Portal", but you really owe it to yourself to check out more of his stuff.
Apart from Still Alive, recommended tunes are: - I Crush Everything - Skullcrusher Mountain - Creepy Doll - Code Monkey - Baby Got Back - Millionaire Girlfriend and the entire Our Bodies, Ourselves, Our Cybernetic Arms EP for Popular Science.
Minx and I were at his first ever non-US gig in London last month, and it was awesome.
Other awesome things about that trip were Camden Market, which really has to be seen to be believed, and meeting up with my friend Hugh, who I've not seen in forever and who bought me a copy of Watchmen, which I'm ashamed to admit I hadn't read before.
I'd also like to say that the London Underground is a fucking tremendous system, its only real flaw being how utterly fragile it is; if one station or line is closed, it turns the rest of it into an over-populated nightmare.

Forgot all about this placeAlmost a year since I updated - 11 months. Good Lord.
I'm not much use at recounting such a ridiculous period of time in a condensed space, and don't remember enough of it to make a long post, so here are the highlights, in approximately the order they happened.
I got an Xbox 360. I have moved to Dundee, Scotland. I now work as a "Junior Test Engineer" for Realtime Worlds. I now own a car. I do not currently have internet installed at home.
Anything else you might be interested in, just ask.
My Xbox Live gamertag is demondownload - but I will not accept requests from people I don't know; if you're not on my friends list then don't bother.
