Clearing and CompletionSo I finally got around to saving enough money to buy the Xbox 360S (the gorgeous slim design). after transferring all my data (minus some Crackdown data which I have yet to determine) to the new Xbox, I decided to do what any teenager would do - con their younger cousins into buying the old Xbox for an unreasonable amount. I finally found a buyer who agreed to a price at least $10 more than any game retailer would give me, and decided to sweeten the deal by throwing in whatever game I could 100% before I had to go back to uni (which, in Australia, is around the end of February, although I'm admittedly not sure when it is elsewhere in the world.
At that point, the games I was closest to 100%-ing were Enchanted Arms (which honestly looks like it was a launch title), Dynasty Warriors 7 (which I've actually played so much I'm beginning to hate the series, which is saying something considering I've completed at least Dynasty Warriors games before this one) and Assassin's Creed 2
and yes, I know, Revelations has just come out, and it's shocking that I haven't even finished the second game, but honestly, I have so many games that I kind of just put it off... and never got back to it (I'm about to post my list of games too, just to put some perspective on it all)
I've decided to do what any illogical person would do, and play all three at once, alternating every few hours, or whenever I complete a certain goal (i.e., maxing a characters skills in Dynasty Warriors)
anyhow, I was playing Assassin's Creed and noticed an Assassin's Tomb that I had not yet completed, so, looking to get that achievement, went through it and popped outside (thankfully the tomb was pretty straightforward, some of them can be a tad painful)
now usually, when you finish an Assassin's Tomb, the achievement for it pops when you leave, however, this time, it did not. i found this odd, and so decided to reset the game, and hopefully redo the tomb. however, while quitting, the screen merely went, and stayed, white, becoming completely unresponsive and requiring a manual power down. huh. after resetting, I went to load my game when lo and behold, it was gone. the damned save and wiped! granted, I was still half done with the achievements, and was only a quarter or so through the game, but still, it was terribly annoying! anyway I've started again and am hoping to do things a little differently, namely spending a day earning money to upgrade montegerroni.
tl;dr - my assassin's creed data wiped so i had to reset.
edit: turns out my new hard drive just hates assassins creed 2 and ruins any save i make
