the quiet place projectRecently, I've been seeing more and more posts from my beautiful friends about how stressed / emotional / worried / busy they are, which upsets me because I either know exactly how you feel, I sympathise, or - plain and simple - I know I can't really do much to help.
It's all well and good to say I'm here for all of you, but as I know that I personally am very tight-lipped and stubborn about discussing my feelings (despite the raging bitchy statuses and the crying about fictional characters), I know that a lot of you probably won't approach me to talk about it.
Which is completely fine, and I understand. By saying I'm here for you, I don't expect anything at all. I just want you to know you're not alone. My love for you all is unconditional; I'm just waiting, patiently.
Which brings me to the point of this journal.
As most of you would know, I've been spending most of my time on Tumblr. (Which is why I haven't really been posting on here because all I have to talk about is the Winchesters and Buffy and how much I love the Avengers fandom.) And in my adventures, I discovered something that is actually very helpful.
The quiet place project.
It's a website that you can go to for - you guessed it - a bit of quiet.
There are a few different "rooms":
the quiet place
90 second relaxation exercise
the thoughts room
the dreams room
It's very easy to use. You choose a room, press F11 to maximise the experience, and follow the instructions on the screen. The thoughts room is a place you can go to type out all of the stuff that's crashing around in your head. No one sees it but you, and the thoughts literally disappear from the screen.
You can even choose what music plays while you use these applications.
The dreams room is somewhere you can keep a record of your dreams and how you're feeling, and linkd to that is "the comfort spot", where you can anonymously (all of it is anonymous, I promise) post your worries or concerns and receive comfort from others. And you can give comfort in return.
There's no shouting in the quiet place.
No judgement.
No prying eyes.
Just quiet.

THREE MONTHS. I NEVER EVEN POSTED AN RTOZ 2012 JOURNAL, WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?
Maybe I should do that.
WHAT HAVE I EVEN BEEN DOING-
Oh, that's right. Sitting in my room writing dirty stories fan fiction totally legitimate literature that is classy and completely socially acceptable.
(No, I'm not going to show it to you, don't even ask.)
I really don't do much, so I haven't had many things to post about. Mostly because they're totally inappropriate thoughts about Tom Hiddleston and the casts of Batman and The Avengers And I don't like to clog up your feeds with useless crap (says the girl who posts on Facebook ten times a day), so I haven't been terribly active on here. I haven't even watched the last three episodes of Red vs Blue. I AM A TERRIBLE PERSON.
(You'll have to excuse the shouting, I've been spending too much time on Tumblr. We shout a lot there. It's pretty fun.)
What have I actually been doing? Well...
I dressed up as a trapeze artist for a party a few weeks ago, so that was fun.
(And I tripped down the stairs and rolled my ankle, which was not fun, so my Black Widow Bod project was put on hold while I limped around like a bitch.)
I've got my fight face on but on the inside I'm screaming OH MY ANKLE HURTS LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER HELP ME LOKI HELP ME TONY STARK.

But now it's a little worse because of my stupid inability to not eat yummy foods. So I'm getting there. Kinda. Slowly. I need Scarlett Johansson to kick my ass back into line.
Ummmmmm... I got a Batman tattoo. Did you know that? 'Cause I did.
It's pretty wicked. No, I'm not telling you where it is.
I saw The Amazing Spider-Man (JKADSFKJGHSDGNBHSG HOW FUCKING GOOD WAS IT) and broke sexual harrassment laws when I groped his sexy bod.
I've been terrible, eating yummy desserts...
And cookie monster cupcakes...
Acting like a 5 year old..
And watching awesome DVDs like this one right here. Do you watch The Joker Blogs? No? Well, you should. 'Cause I said so, that's why.
I'm also going to audition for The Voice Australia, so... I'm pretty much shitting myself. I need to do a video audition, and then they'll decide if they want me for the blind auditions. JHDGJKSHLGJHDGJKHAJH Um, so hopefully I can get on TV and show those bitches how a REAL singing competition is done. Fuckyeah.
And.... yes. I think... that might be all.

I'm not even sorry for clogging up your RT homepage with a massive picture journal full of useless crap. WHICH IS WHAT I SAID I WASN'T GOING TO DO BUT I LIED,

Stayin' alive!Hey there honeys!
I feel like every time I get on here I'm writing one of these journals.
So I've been absent for the last few weeks because I was at the theatre in my town (pretty much every night for three weeks after work) painting the set for Alice In Wonderland the musical.
It's sort of a cute show, for the younger group. So there's a lot of nice kids in it.
I got completely exhausted working on it, but I'm pretty damn proud. I'll be able to put up photos in a couple of weeks when the run is finished.
The downside is that I'm now even further behind in all my other projects, but it was really great experience and practice for me, so I'm still happy.
Apart from that, I've seen The Avengers (only once because, of course, I was painting the damn set at the haunted theatre) and my reaction was pretty much this.
I plan to see it many more times.
And then I'm going to England to marry Tom Hiddleston.
Aside from painting and working, I've been dealing with some personal things.
Which I love. It's soooo great. Don't you just LOVE family?! I KNOW I DO.
Annnnd yeah. Now I have to catch up on all my artwork.
*cringe*
So I'll see you around! And I know I am absolutely AWFUL about keeping up with friends on here, but I only ever say hi when I actually have something interesting to say. I don't want to be one of those people who says "Hey, what's up" and nothing else.
So it's not you, it's me.

RT Community: Two Questions.Indie here.
I've been busy lately, swimming through rivers of acryllic paint and dancing with Fred and Judy.
I have so many ideas for paintings that I can barely keep up with them all, but my mind is terribly fickle. I commit to an idea and then it changes not long after.
But I adore making my artwork.
So I wanted to ask you, my dear community;
 What do you do to make you happy?
Something just for you, when you aren't working, or sleeping, or dealing with other people. I know most of you are gamers, but what else do you love?
I paint, write nonsensical poems, sing, dance around my room in my underwear.
And the second question,
What do you love most about your favourite season?
I love winter; although we don't have snow, which I love, I adore the rainstorms, the cloudy days, the way winter light filters everything in such a different way.
