PSA # One and OnlyThis is a very special message to all the noobs and newbs out there. I feel your pain. There was a time when I went around saying random crap that didn't make any sense, and as such was not a popular fellow. NOTE: I was 5 at the time, but that's beside the point. It seems that today's noobs work too hard to be accepted and merely piss everyone off (dragonbanez, I'm looking at you I guess he's been fixed). Here are a few tips to avoid this horrific fate:

1.) While contributions are nice, you might want to spend a couple of days just watching forums, getting a good feel for accepted behavior, and following trend. That's not to say that you can't be yourself, but not every freakin thought that passes through your little head must be made public. People hate unrelated crap.

2.) DO NOT FOR THE LOVE OF CHURCH GO IN TO FORUMS AND GIVE RANDOM UNRELATED QUOTES!!!! This is one of the most annoying things there is. There could be a decent discussion going (a rare and valuable occurrence in these forums) and then some Jackass will swoop in and type in My Name is Michael J. Caboose, and I Hate BABIES!! This ruins a discussions, gets everyone involved pissed off, then you get -1ed. Don't do it.

3.) Don't go into character/team oriented threads and dis on the topic. Guess what you've done? You've pissed off everyone in the thread. And friends of anyone in the thread. And anyone who watches any of those people but aren't cool enough to be their friends. And any of their friends. And anyone else who finds out. Etc, you get the idea.

4.) Church rocks. The others are cool too, but Church is the Man. My lawyers have also told me to say that Simmons is a sexy beast or else Michy might sneak into my room and beat me. So, uh, Simmons is a sexy beast, in a totally heterosexual way.

5.)No one cares about your IQ, or what you pretend it is. Fact is, you're a loser just for doing one of those retarded tests, even more so for bragging about it, and the ultimate loser for having your results memorized. If you want to see what IQ gets you, just ask some of the guys who go through ATC courses. We had a guy who bragged about his IQ. If he had any friends, I would ask them what he kept sayin what it was. Failed out when we actually had to do things that wasn't bookwork related. On the other hand, people who damn near failed out of high school could grasp it like nothing. IQ tests don't mean crap. Fact. And no, I don't know what my IQ is. I have a social life.

6.) First post!
This video rocks even though I'm not a sponser and this video is not released to the public
RT should come out with videos more often
I'm downloading right now!
When will this be released to the public?

These all qualify as retarded things to post. Fact.

7.)Random friend requests are not recommend in most cases. Some people welcome them, because they're friend whores. Some don't care either way. Some, like myself, have an extensive process to decide what happens to random friend requests. But most HATE them. Not a good way to get on the radar.

8.) Don't ask for awards.

9.) Don't ask how to get awards.

9b.) There are places that tell you how to acquire each award. If you cannot find it, ask in the forums in the proper places. LAST resort, ask the people themselves how to get their award. I could have combined this with 9, but that would ruin the effect.

10.) Watch as much RvB as you can. Research is key to not being hated.

11.)You're new, you don't run the place, stop acting like you do.

12.) Important rule.

13.) The trivia forums are an excellent place to get you bearings. Don't randomly shout (or post as the case may be) answers without cause. Don't give random thoughts and crap. Like I said before, sit back, watch a few rounds, answer the ones you KNOW!!! (As opposed to making it up) It builds karma quick and you can meet a bunch of cool people there. Check out their stuff, and expand. Start contributing more and more. Then you'll be awesome.

14.) Memorize episode 16. Yes, there are other cool ones, but episode 16 is more important than anything else. Yes, it's more important than school. Yes, it's more important than Friends. Yes, it's even more important than the number 42. That's right, even the number 42. Zing.

15.) Church still rocks. Just a reminder.

16) 0v3ru5!ng 1337 g375 r3411y 01d 4f73r @ wh!13. K!nd4 g!v35 m3 4 h34d4ch3, ! d0n'7 kn0w 4b0u7 y0u. P13453 d0n'7 d0 !7.

17) Proper grammer is always appreciated.

Edit:
18) Okay, new rule. If you piss off anyone in the threads (especially her), don't be a fucking retard and try to have a flame war, and whatever you do, don't for the love of god, make a second profile, using your information, and pics, reenter the thread, acting like your new and stupid (like this guy). I mean, what the fuck?

19) Ya know, I didn't think I was gonna need to add this, but apparently I do: Don't Comment on you own profile. The message won't be received like you'll want. Instead, comment on the profile of whoever you want to talk to, or PM them.

Hopefully, these tips will help you adapt here and become flippin awesome. Any additional tips, please note them. And vets, don't think you're exempt. PSA # One and only Part Deux may be on its way....(dramatic music follows)...

Edit: Oh yeah, Part Duex is out.

Too bad not enough of the noobs will pay any attention to this! It took me awhile to read number 16. I hate when kids (well mostly it's the kids) use that shit!

In reply to Knuckles, #1:
It hardly took me any time to read 16, but maybe that says something about me.

It was fun to read, it's just sad that no noob reads ANYTHING before going to forums, videos, etc.
