New Computer Built!I actually finished building most of my new computer two months ago, but I've been adding bits and pieces to it since then, and it's now completely finished. I thought I'd share my specs with you. If you recall, my last update was when I purchase my new Dell laptop.

Old Laptop - Dell e1705
17-inch widescreen w/ Truelife ( 1920 x 1200 )
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz
2GB of RAM
nVIDIA Geforce 7900GS
120GB HDD

New Computer - homebuilt
(2) 19" widescreen monitors ( 1440(2) x 900 )
Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0GHz
4GB of RAM
nVIDIA Geforce 8600GT
400GB + 500GB + 750GB HDDs

This is also an excuse to update my journal here - just to let you know that I'm still alive. Okay, cya :)

wow, that's almost good enough to run Crysis! Almost.

You really need all that power to make a comic? Wow.

Thats pretty damn good! Better than my dell poweredge 6450 4x700 mhz intel pentium 3's 1 gig of RAM(16 sticks of RAM and only a gig) 4 harddrives and only 22 gigs of storage 3 power bricks I believe over 500 watts apiece, my lights flicker when I turn it on... built in 1999 it supports up to 8 gig RAM and it has almost 2.8 ghz of processor power it supports over a TB of harddrives I believe... and it weighs 66.6 pounds

Out of curiosity,... why did you get so much hard disk space? you won't be using 1.65TB for a while... and you had to buy a hard drive controller, too. why not just do away with the controller and the smallest hard drive?
