My Theatrical/Show ResumeI've decided to keep a list of every show I've been involved with and in what capacity. I've also decided to share it with you, because....why not? This feat is much larger than it at first may seem. As you'll see, it's a pretty long list and in actuality it's nowhere close to being full.
I've included all of the major shows (some of them are big names you'll definitely recognize) I worked with in the 3 1/2 years I spent working as a stagehand at a road-house. This is probably the most incomplete list as some of those were almost 7 years ago now, and I'm not including any of the concerts/performances I did there for the school itself.

The rest of my list is as complete as I can possibly make it, minus some playwrights/composers that I wasn't sure of. I will make a permanent link on my profile to this page and as I work on new shows I'll continually update my list. Also feel free to ask me any questions about my experiences!

In reply to kickcows, #3:

Fosse is just a complication of some of his more famous choreographed dances from various shows, as well as a couple of new dances created by other choreographers based on the style Fosse used. It wasn't a bad show at all.

Also keep in mind that everything I did while working for the GBPAC was really usually 1, maybe 2, and sometimes rarely 3 or more days with a show. Most of the time I was putting together trussing, lighting and running cables but it's still fun to say I've worked behind the scenes on awesome shows.

The one exception to that was when we brought STOMP in and I served as master electrician of the house because my boss was on maternity leave. Basically this meant I had a month's worth of interaction with the Lighting Director of the show doing prep work and getting the light plot hung and ready, and making sure he had what he needed while they were there for a few days. Following their short residency my boss received an email telling him of the awesomely professional job I did for him and he'd never had that in the 8 years he'd been with the show. I think he was more impressed that I was a student than anything.

Sad but I am most jealous of all the concert people, did you get to meet them all?!?!?

In reply to sandoutlawed, #5:

I actually didn't get to meet any of them. At most of the concerts I was within 20-50 feet of the artist(s) at some point, though so I usually got a good close look. My closest experience was with Fleetwood Mac since I was sitting in a lighting truss some 30 feet above their heads pointing spot-lights at them for 3 hours.

Also feel free to ask me any questions about my experiences!
What was your first threesome like? Oh...you meant theater experiences. When was your first time "doing it" in a theater? OK, OK...I think I got this time. What the heck is a Load In/out? Is it basically someone who loads the stage stuff on and off?

Seriously....that's an awesome list of yours. It makes me want to see something that you're working on. (OK...that just sounded perverted and it wasn't mean to be...unlike the other 99.9% of the time I write)

That's a pretty damn good list, man. Wish I had one as diverse and long. So far, I've only been a running/construction crew for beauty and the beast, and construction/props crew for Shadow Box. That's all i've got so far.
