A Mike Update, Shall we...CollegeCollege is going well I suppose. Art is fun! College Success Skills is okay, informative at best. English... I'm getting by. Today I talked with my counselor, and the good news is that it looks like after this english class, I'll be done it english for good. Which is a BIG relief for me... I hate english. And while I still gotta look into some things and do some planning, it looks as if I already have a rough schedule laid out for next semester. Drawing 2, Design for Web 1, and then either a Math class (either some sort of algebra class or precalculus if I can retake the placement test and get five more points... all depends) or Psychology. Maybe both? All depends on what the future brings. Design World Been trying to use Photoshop, HTML and CSS. Photoshop wise, it's been more about retouching portrait photos. I'm gonna start reading some tutorials to improve my html/css skills, as well as read some design tutorials. Also, remember back in May I took a Photoshop Seminar class from Kelby Training? Well in December they're coming to Washington D.C., with a seminar for Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Flash CS4, and other cool stuff. Very excited. I also got a ticket, which is usually $99, for $39. Yay for the NAPP and early bird special! Gaming Achievement Hunting. I might have new CH video coming soon by the way. Other wise, I've started playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance (one, can't afford two, and I want to beat the first one before I move on). Enjoying it. Reading I was able to pick up two books yesterday. Star Wars: Death Troopers, and Heat Wave (The Castle Book). I've started with Death Troopers, and so far it's okay. Bare in mind I'm only... 32 pages in, but I'm enjoying it.
