Snowmageddon Seattle 2012So hey, I survived. It really wasn't that bad, and aside from being snowed in and losing power for the majority of the time, it was pretty fun. A pain in the ass, but fun.
We were without power, water, heat, or internet (and intermittent cellphone svc) for 9 days during that freak storm in late Oct.
FYI for next time: Keep a lot of ziplock bags on hand. Fill bags with snow. Pack all around food, etc. in fridge and freezer. As snow melts, use it to flush the toilet. Go outside and refill with more snow. Rinse and repeat.
