MLP, for realzIn the recent past, there was a big hullaballo about "My Little Pony". Apparently there is a subset of male geeks who have some kind of strange fascination with this cartoon. I do not understand their fascination with what is most obviously a cartoon aimed at young girls.
When the argument first started, I was going on nothing but impressions of the show, since I had/have absolutely no desire to watch it. Some may say I wasnt giving it a fair chance, since I had not watched it...I would usually counter with the idea that I dont need to try heroin to know it is bad.
I have a four yer old daughter. Can you guess what cartoon she has recently gotten into???
I can now say I have seen several episodes of "My Little Pony".... usually late at night when she is on her way to sleepy town. I can say with utmost certainty and absolutely fact that I do not like this show....and I have a seriously hard time understanding how any male who isnt stuck watching his daughters favorite new show could ever get into it???
In fact, I think those post pubescent males who are into this show may need counseling.
