You know what really bums me out? I drove my mom's car today and tried to find some music to listen to on the radio. Of a good 25 different stations, I couldn't find a goddamn one that played music. You know, that thing that music stations are supposed to play. All I got were talk shows, advertisements, more talk shows, and one telling me to accept Jesus Christ into my life.

Radios are the new MTV.

Usually I do, but the converter I have for my car goes into a cassette player(my car's old) and my mom's car is too new to have that, but not new enough for any built-in ports. Forced to listen to fuckin' hipster stations O_O

It seems like if you want to listen to music you either need your mp3 player or an app like Pandora. That's what I do, but only because my car radio is busted.

My mom's car has a flat four and sounds like a little cordless vacuum, I still listen to it. But everyone likes what they like.

We have a radio station that will play an ad for itself. It'll play clips of music that they air, then end with "You're listening now. Hear all the top song here. You are listening now!"

Then it goes to commercials.

The way they play the station's advert sounds like you're going to listen to some god damn music NOW, but then it turns to a Pepsi commercial.

Yeah, MTV. I remember the days when it actually showed videos, and pretty much nothing but videos (and just enough commercials to pay the bills) and the Mighty Martha Quinn.

When she left, there wasn't really anything worth tuning in for.
