TV Shows Have I got news for you Mock the Week QI Quiz Coms in general (although pre-Amstell Buzzcocks can be wearisome.) Peep Show Old British comedy (Blackadder Dad's Army Fawlty Towers etc). Futurama Old Simpsons (before it became a tired exercise in shoving guest stars into episodes). Spooks Life on Mars Ashes to Ashes having watched a few episodes now skins is actually really good.
Books Catch-22 1984 Brave New World Stalingrad and Berlin: The Downfall. Simon Schama writes as good a history of Britain as you'll need. Currently reading The Bourne Supremacy
