Jordan, finally its over....
Thanks to my fingers actually working for once, I have finally managed to beat the hardest song on Guitar Hero II, merely 8 days before the release of Guitar Hero III in Australia.
God, the relief I felt after beating that song was massive, I've spent too long playing that one song, I'd have to say I've played it at least over 100 times, ranging from trying to get the chorus and verses downpat, to figuring out how to do the crazy 'sea of skittles' solo
In the winning run I managed to have full star power as I finished the end of solo A, which is the orange-blue-yellow x2, orange-blue-red x2 bit, and then somehow managed to pass the first passage of the skittles without using star powers.
Went I hit the Blue Note of Freedom I was in the red, but smiling.
During chorus three I kind started yelling in joy...kinda odd really (not sure if anyone else does that...)
Not playing anymore guitar hero until my exams are over, which is like the 15th of November. It'll probably kill me, but after they are over I'm going straight out and buying GH3... and starting my quest to slay 'Through Fire and Flames'
BTW...'One' on GH3 looks fucking awesome to play, can't wait!
