Warning: Poor attempt at writing ahead.
You have been warned.

Well it all starts like this. I am a fan of the Command and Conquer series, so I constantly check out planetcnc.com. I was checking stuff out when I saw a banner on top of the web page, showing two guys talking together about machinima films.

"What's a machinima film?"
"A film that uses actual game footage to create movies."

I'm paraphrasing, but the point is, I checked out machinima.com. God did it rock.
I simply loved the videos. Finally, gaming footage used for movies! How brilliant!

I loved the comedies the most. Action and drama were good, but comedy rocks.

I first started off with many videos like 'Hero', 'Dragons', and 'Blabberfield 1999'. But I noticed the RvB episodes there. At first, all the RvB episodes seemed overwhelming- I felt it would take forever for me to watch all those episodes, yet eventually, I downloaded the episodes.

I was instantly hooked. Holy crap. Motherfug nuggets of unspeakable joy. The characters, the storyline, the exciting suspenseful plot twists, the humor, the classic one-liners! And the fact that each episode was only less than 15 minutes long left you begging for more. Church, Caboose, Sarge, Grif, Tex, Simmons, Doc, O'Malley, Lopez, Tucker, Donut, Sheila- You could see them develop their character throughout the whole series. Donut didn't start out as a she-male, now did he? He started out as a naive rookie, trying to fit in with the Reds. His character developed more and more as he unintentionally stole the Blue Flag. The whole story, acting, and visuals were nothing short of some fine professional work. The brilliant way Church went back in time and there were no plot-holes, everything was done perfectly. No first-time amateur made Red vs Blue, that I can tell you.

That is how I found the joy of the greatest web series ever.
