Hello Rooster Teeth Community...Hello RT community, my name is Alan and I'm the new Director of Business Development (or "Sales Dude" according to Barbara) here at Rooster Teeth.
Since my job title here is a bit vague and corporate sounding, I decided it was important for me to introduce myself directly to y'all and give you a bit of an overview of what I intend to do in partnership with Burnie, Matt, Geoff, Gus and the rest of the Rooster Teeth, Achievement Hunter, and RTX Event team.
For starters, my first and most important job is to ensure that you, our faithful community, will continue to get the funniest, edgiest and most informative gaming and comedy content available on the web…. ad supported and free - just like always.
So what does that exactly mean? Well some examples would be early copies of games sent to the AH team in support of upcoming releases (and early "Let's Play" and "This Is…" episodes for you), advertiser sponsorships to support the growth of the Rooster Teeth Podcast, AHWU and other AH shows. And the development of new partnerships that will help us produce more shows like The Gauntlet, A Simple Walk To Mordor and RWBY.
Additionally, I will be partnering with Gus and Barbara to build RTX into the most unique and fun gaming/internet culture event in the country.
And like all of you, I'm a huge fan of everything RT.
I've been following RvB since the first episode (yea, I was an active participant with the thousands of you in taking down the teleNetworks servers trying to get a copy of RVB ep 1) and I'm a huge fan of RT's live action stuff, especially Immersion and the RT Shorts series. (rumor has it that i was the cop at the end of Unusual Suspects).
So thanks again for your support as I assist in ensuring that RoosterTeeth.com and AchievementHunter.com continue to be the best sites on the net!
