Facebook update

Facebook updateBen came to me and said "you don't update your fan page on Facebook enough" to which I replied "I don't know how to use Facebook."

He then told me that Facebook changed the way they handle "fan pages" and now people can subscribe directly to your Facebook personal profile. I responded "I don't know how to use Facebook."

He then showed me how to go through and make all the changes and get rid of my old page. He asked me if I was concerned that this might have a negative impact on my Facebook usage and I answered, "I don't know how to use Facebook."

In summary, we did some things and clicked some buttons and now my Facebook page is different than it was and you can look at it and tell me how to use it.

If Rooster Teeth's web dev critics are to be believed, then if you know how to use Rooster Teeth, then you know how to use Facebook.

But seriously, I don't know how half of Facebook's features work either. You may wish to just download the iPhone app and do all your status updates from there.

Nah, there's a limit to the amount of friends a person can have (5000?). So many noteable people who like fan interaction make a fan pages and use that instead. Gabriel Iglesias, the comedian, for example, uses his fan page like a user page.

Facebook is easy to navigate, especially with that user-friendly interface! All you have to do is login, click yes to every game invite, click the green thingy on the top left, click the blue and white words on right, accept all apps that wants to look at your personal stuff, type in your credit card number, debit card number, PIN, and a recent picture of yourself. Almost done with the walkthrough, don't worry. There's a button to click that says,"Give Facebook all my money" Don't click that. Instead, click the one next to it that says "Still give Facebook all my money." After that, you're free to let all of your Facebook Friends(which means everyone that finds your page) know how bad your spelling and gramar is with status updates, as well as take pictures of yourself using your phone in your bathroom mirror doing the duck face or holding as many red solo cups as possible. Enjoy Facebook, Burnie!

I tend to agree. Those of us who were just fine with the previous update everything worked right and the mod bank was gone. This update still has bugs. Color has no standard quick select you have to type the word or code in. You can't edit posts in friends journals if you screw up ...
