If you could do some power stuff...

If you could do some power stuff......would you fight crime? This was one of those late night editing conversations Chris and I had. His answer was a pretty good one, how do you go and "fight crime?" and "...no". Would you feel a responsibility to move to Sudan and help people if you had some super human ability?

On a related note: I love batman but he needs to stop getting credit for "not having super powers." Being a super billionaire is a super power. He has Super human abilities that 99% of the world can't have because he has the money to make whatever he wants. If spiderman is in a jam he has a couple options: jump or shoot some web. Batman can do almost anything and you'll accept it because he is super rich. We need to put an end to this madness. Alright back to work.

Man shut up about the money thing already, he does shit all the time without it. He got sent back in time with amnesia and in a cave he still beat the shit out of criminal cavemen.

If anything his power is superhuman force of will and intelligence. No one is that smart and quick thinking in the real world. His ability to react to the unknown is unreal. The money thing is so nothing, by the logic you're talking about someone could theoretically be Batman if they had the billions of dollars to do it, but there's no flippin way that's going to happen.

I don't think fighting crime really makes sense, in reality your "secret identity" would be immediately discovered and either you or your family would be killed or taken away and you wouldn't even have a chance to do anything beneficial for society. Though I do think using any superpowers to help people non-violently is always an acceptable option. Or what the hell, do whatever you want, you've got fucking super powers.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for saying that about Batman. It's what I've been trying to convince people of forever.
He has incredibly advanced physical abilities (a super power), which is made possibly by his abnormally high will power (even bigger super power). Add to that his deductive reasoning and intelligence, and he's one of the best super heroes.

If I had a skillset that made me able to fight crime, I would. Sure it's risky and any of your potential skumbag catches or kills could take me out, but it'd be irresponsible to waste special abilities id I had em.

Honestly, i wouldn't fight crime. If i had a choice, i would Exploit my powers for all it'z worth. if i had could teleport, i wouldn't be late to anything again. And those long road trips are cut short. If i could read minds, cheap on tests and stuff. world peace and fighting crime would have to be put on hold. Pranking my best friend would have to be the first Item on my list of things to do. Especially after having to drive him to hospital in the middle of the night after been bitten by a spider. The hospital dosed him up on drugs sent him home and I had to spend the rest of the night convincing him that he in fact did not now have the powers of spider man.

If I could have any super power I'd go for the guy from Jumper. And I wouldn't fight crime. just be a good Samaritan. Being able to go any place at any time would be amazing and having a good alibi for all your crimes (because if you're in police custody and commit again, nobody's going to believe it was you) would make you unstoppable.

Also, that movie was the most racist movie of 2008.

If i were a super hero. I dont know what exactly i would do but, i would definitly fight crime in some way or form. I would definitly wear body armor(even if i was bulletproof) and, i would definitly build a lightsaber type weapon, like a miniaturized gundam beam saber or something. Just becuase i like those things and the fact that a lightsaber type weapon is convenient, portable, and semi-practical. Anyway, that is the basic gist of what i would do.

What about tony stark? hes a billionaire, and he has a supersuit, batman only fights with fists. I think more batmans superpower is his will power and his ability to arrest criminals without using deadly force. If money was his super power, why wouldnt someone with a shitton of money just fight crime?
