Go for launchToday, we start our new livestream podcasts and I am very excited to be a part of this debut. I just want to make a couple of things clear -- the first is that this will not change the delivery of our regular audio podcast. That will still go up on our website & on iTunes every Wednesday for everyone. We may have some moments that are inherently "more video" than others and we may edit those out just to keep from annoying our audio-only listeners.
I also want everyone to understand that this is an evolving product. We have ideas for what we want to accomplish but like every other production we make at Rooster Teeth, this is a moving target. Right now the plan for the live broadcast is for Sponsors only. This will help us limit the amount of equipment we need and slow the interaction from listeners during the show so we can actually make sense of it all. After that, the video archive will be available for Sponsors and the audio version will be publicly available at the usual time. And most importantly, all of that may and probably will change. If you are sponsoring just for the podcast, don't get your feelings hurt if one or more of those features opens up to the public in the future. Like I said, this is an evolving product and your participation is part of that evolution.
And as always, if you have any complaints about your Sponsorship you can direct them to us via email. In my nine years as CEO of RT, I don't recall a single time when we rejected a request for a refund for any reason. I am sure that spirit continues under Matt's reign. We want your support because you enjoy the content we produce -- that's part of the deal.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get in makeup for my big video debut. No way I am going to look worse than Gus. See you in a few hours.

When I joined the site most of the staff were pretty active in the forums. Burnie and Joel were in the sports section a lot. The interest hasn't gone away, it's just that they've grown so much the de...
Because that would make me a saaaaad panda.
It was chock full of subduction, though. That's a plus.
"...slow the interaction from listeners during the show so we can actually make sense of it all."
Yeah, chat went by incredibly fast. Not sure how you'll deal with this!! :/
...everybody knows the podcast is on Wednesday...
It would be 2am over here when it goes online.
Challenge accepted!
And Burnie... please promise us you'll never die.
