Podcast 185 (LIVE STREAM) and 1 year of RTAAJust another typical Wednesday with a new podcast...but what's this? This week marks the beginning of our live stream podcast. We stream the recording of the podcast at 7:30PM Central time on Tuesdays for sponsors and that audio becomes the normal audio podcast you've all come to know and love.
This week was our first go at it and I think it went well, but of course there were some issues. The number one priority for us is obviously to improve audio quality. We had some equipment malfunctions that caused the quality to become degraded but we are working on solutions to fix it for next week. We also had some issues with too many people in the chat room talking to us which caused chat to be difficult to read. We're reworking on a new solution for this as well.
I'd also like to take a moment to thank this week's podcast sponsors Shutterstock.com and Audible.com.
The RTAAs hit a milestone this week. It was one year ago this week that we started releasing the Animated Adventures as an official Rooster Teeth video series on this site. This week's RTAA is a story about Michael getting locked out of his apartment. After watching this week's RTAA you should stop by Jordan's profile and congratulate him on working so hard on the RTAA and never missing a week of content. Thanks Jordan!

1) Use the computer more often (how Jack was using it)
2) Prerecord video commercials of sponsors to give yourselves breaks and better convey their promotion
But this was outstanding, wish I could watch it live but I think my college proffessors wont be too happy if I did lol
Regarding the chat issue, the custom hashtag on Twitter process is pretty solid at least from how I've seen you guys utilize it. Another suggestion I have is something I saw used on Vokle. I was part of a chat/livestream featuring Felicia Day and she relied on the mods to pick out questions from the chat that she could answer. So if you have chat mods that you trust, it'll take some of the responsibility off from you guys having to keep an eye on questions from the chat.
Looking forward to next week! Fantastic work as always Gus.

That would be great for us International people.
After listening to the audio, let me say that the podcast has some pretty hairy guys. We should rename Jack's beard to something like, "Beardo, Destroyer of Sound."
There are some very nice mics that attach over the ear and rest close to the cheek that should work much better. Just make sure to get some that don't interfere with the beer drinking. :)
