Mountain Dew Commercial!! DONESome of the secret things we have been working on in the past couple of months are commercials, some are out and you have already seen them and then there is this one!!! One of my proudest "quick" projects. We had Shane and Dustin do mocap and animation...Jeff on Lighting, Render and Composite, Kerry on FX and Composite and Gray on FX and Composite, Ryan on lighting and Render. Corey did an amazing job on environment texturing and Taylor rocked modeling our props and of course the Mountain Dew Bottle! Together, we created an amazing Halo 4/Mountain Dew Commercial! The commercial is pretty cool. Kudos to you guys' awesome super talent. I'm not even the biggest fan of Mountain Dew, but I'll still buy some to support.
I liked it a lot. I have not seen this commercial on tv anywhere. I have seen the skins/armor commercial a bunch though. Did RT have anything to do with that one?
Saw this commercial when I dropped the remote control and it switched to Comedy Central last night. Couldn't believe my luck! The commercial blew my mind, great job!!
Pheonominal job Kathleen, you and the other staff who worked on this commerical. The graphics are awesome and its pretty funny too, and I actually remember seeing that commercial at the Gamestop where I preordered Halo 4 a few days ago!!
Though it sucks that there's never any Rooster Teeth name or logo anywhere on any of these videos. They don't even mention it in the description... What the fuck?
I understand that they probably wouldn't generally list the name of a production company on any commercial... but seeing as how all the commercials are about gaming and/or Halo, and RT is deeply engrained in both of those things, it seems like it would make sense to attract more people.
RT Life: Gallium and Falling Trees Chris brings in some gallium to play with before the podcast. Meanwhile a tree fell in the parking lot and we bear witness to the ruckus.
