Secondly, my woman and I have been raising meat rabbits and recently we had two die. Not wanting to let the fur and meat go to waste I skinned it and then we boiled them for 30 minutes to cook and kill anything in them. Then we fed the dog. She was quite happy. Now hang on don't get in an uproar because we fed the dog. We believe that the rabbits were too young to get fresh greens and that lead to dehydration and thats what killed them. We do provide water to them we don't just depend on nature to water the little critters. Anyhoo, I stretched and dried the skins and I would like to know if anyone out there knows any good methods for storing dried pelts?
