EN WHY SEE SEE
SO. It was awesome.
TINY RECAP.
Wednesday: Chilled like a mofuggin BOSS with the Puggle Goddess in her kingdom.
Thursday: Explored Manhattan. Highlights: Candied Bacon exists. THERE IS A MOTHERFUCKING FERRIS WHEEL IN THE TOYS R US IN TIMES SQUARE. HOLY FUCK. And we rode and and they let us stay on it for, like, triple the supposed time because they liked us. xD ADDITIONALLY: Red Lobster with a fuckin' elevator. My country girl mind was blown.
Friday: CONVENTION DAAAAAY~ We BOUGHT ALL THE THINGS! Purchased one Transformers Prime NYCC exclusive box set for myself c:I also got pictures with every Doctor cosplayer I could find. OH YEAH. I cosplayed as Amy Pond. It was awesome. FURTHERMORE: Cally and I chilled in the line to see the Jagex Transformers Universe MMO stuff. We got tons of free swag for waiting, and got to design our own characters, and vote on class names! That was neat. WHILE in line I spotted another Amy Pond (Kissogram police girl outfit) and a Rory Williams (Centurion outfit). Got pics with them, too! Oh, and Kissogram Amy and I flirted, as is appropriate. True love at last, and all that. Only I FORGOT TO TAKE MY HAIR OUT OF ITS PONY TAIL fuckmesidewayswithachainsaw. >:| I look retarded with my hair up, and Amy doesn't do pony tails. So, that sucked. OH WELL. That Amy was HOT. I MET THE ELUSIVE JTMitchell87, who hails from Zimbabwe. He let my play with his sonic screwdriver. I was sonic(k)ing ALL THE PEOPLE. It was amazing. Shortly thereafter, as we had met up at the Doctor Who booth, I broke down and bought a Dalek in every color they had. INCLUDING THEIR LAST IRONSIDES DALEK. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHHA. I had so much fun aaaaaaaaaa. Anyway, much shopping and wandering was had. Finally, just as we were leaving, Cally spots one more Doctor.... He was HOT! I'd do him. ANYWAY. Snapped a pic with him, and I ended up looking pretty sexy as well. My boobs were all HI GUYS and my hair decided not to fuck up. (OH OH OH there was a 4th Doctor and a 10th Doctor going in just as Cally and I were headed out. Snapped a pic with them too!) I was le happy. FINALLY we left, got lost looking, soaked, and windblown looking for the bus stop, and FINALLY made it back to the boudoir of the ever powerful Goddess of the Puggles, where I had the honor of having dinner with her family. That was awesome :D
Saturday: I GOT ALL THE SWAG. Apparently an army of Daleks wasn't enough for me. Well, I got three posters, a t-shirt, a sonic screwdriver of my own, MORE RANDOM FREE SWAG, and the ever awesome Goddess of the Puggles got me a Victory of the Daleks mug. *u* ALSO. Rooster Teeth booth! :D I wasn't able to stop for long, but I got a signed Grifisms poster. SWAGGIN IT UP~ Bahahahah. MORE COSPLAY! Again as Amy Pond, I continued in my quest to get my picture with EVERY DOCTOR AT THE CONVENTION. I was.... mostly successful. I was pretty attractive in most of my pictures, too. C: ANOTHER 4th Doctor was spotted! Not as much to report, today, though. We mostly wandered the convention, exploring. I snapped pics with a few TARDIS'! Even one Human!TARDIS! Her costume was GREAT and I commend her for dressing in a single episode cosplay. I FINALLY found a weeping Angel! Her costume had begun to fall apart, though. Sad face. OH OH OH and when I returned to the Who booth to hand my money over, there was a TON of Who cosplayers! I'll upload my favorite cosplay pics later. I'm sure there was more, but my brain isn't wanting to recall it all. We stayed at the Con until the showroom closed this time, and pretty much just chilled when we got back to the abode.
Sunday: Derping around, playing Warcraft, WE VISITED THE WAYSTATION in Brooklyn! We only stayed long enough for me to have half a drink named after Captain Jack Harkness and snap pictures in and around the TARDIS, but it was awesome. After that we derped around and hung out. That was fun. <3.
Accomplishments: The Goddess' cat loves me. I don't know how this happened, but apparently such a thing is rare. xD
Monday: AKA leaving day. Not much to report, here, really. Saw lower Manhattan from a distance on the way to the airport, and it is absolutely beautiful at night. Flew home without incident (Fell asleep on the plane and didn't get my free soda. >:C), got picked up by a good buddy who'd kept my car at his place, and drove to school (briefly stopping by McDonalds to stuff my face with CHEAP food) to catch my last two classes and take a test in one of them. Headed home, derped around, fell asleep at the unimaginably early hour of 9:30pm, and that's that. :B
Over all, as the first trip I have ever planned and payed for entirely on my own, I'd say it was a COMPLETE success.
Did I say tiny? WHOOPS. Guess I had more to say than I thought I did.
