Indeed, you can clean your electronics with de-ionized/demineralized water, as water itself is not a conductor. But still, power it off and remove the plug from the outlet, clean it, let it sit in a bag of rice (or if you have it, silica gel desiccant).
I for some reason feel really sad that it isn't called drunk tank anymore. But then again 5 years later i can say that "I was a listener when it was still called drunk tank!" like an old man
