Is this because we said DRUNK TANK!!!!!!!! everywhere, Gus? We promise that we'll be good. Just give us the name back. It's one of many factors that make it awesome, and it's going to make so much more work for me to change each episode name in Itunes. This is a pointless plea perhaps, but I dislike the cavalier manner in which you discarded the (awesome and very apt) name in favor of something generic and boring. I think that you're giving up more than you realize here. OK that's all from what must seem like an unappreciative and whiny fan.
"They said I could become anything, so I became the Master of Science" Neither my B.A. or my M.S. specify my major area, but I think it is something that depends on the issuing institution.
Friends...and random people of the internet. Whether you call it the Rooster Teeth Podcast or the Drunk Tank, one thing is certain. It makes all of us listening to it Love Wednesdays! Long Live ROOSTER TEETH! Thank You Cast & Crew for another awesome podcast!
Jonas Salk the guy who discovered the Polio vaccine refused to patent his discovery or receive any money for it. He insisted that, “like the sun,†the vaccine should be free to everyone.
I think a general consensus is that: 1. Drunk Tank is a better name 2. Geoff needs to be involved more 3. The Podcast still rocks, even with the dull name.
How is Burnie gonna call Gus out for saying "COM-pass" and then say "ARR-cade" (emphasis on the "Ar" and not the "cade") 100 times? Check the technique, Burns!
Is anyone having a problem getting this week's podcast on iTunes? I've tried to 'GET' it about six times now, and it flat-out refuses to download onto my playlist.........
You know, you guys bringing up how the memory can be so crazy with bringing up random/inane memories made me realize a very strange phenomenon that has happened ever since I mixed playing video games and listening to the Drunk Tank/Rooster Teeth Podcast.
Every so often I will play a very old podcast, and, for whatever reason, it will bring back a very random and inane memory from the game I was currently playing while listening to that podcast for the first time. For example, recently I listened to Drunk Tank #30-something-rather, and for some reason, as Burnie was talking about his skate game fall, the very clear and vivid memory of me playing ODST came up as the Rookie, just randomly exploring the map. Nothing cool or special happened, but for w/e reason, that memory just came up because of the podcast. It has also happened with Fear 2, Alan Wake, and Halo Reach (just to name a few) when listening to other random podcast episodes.
Weird, kinda sad, and kinda fun phenomenon. Sorry if this was boring or something, but I just noticed it very recently and the topic of memories just brought that up.
