Starting a group to bring him back on the podcast and will keep posting the same comment on the podcast till he returns. It may work because Gus loves to get pestered with the same comments over and over again
Just in case you wanted to know, the fact that we call it a cow in the barn yard and beef when it is on the table has to do with the Normans invading and conquering England in 1066. This resulted in a transformation not only of the monarchy but also the ruling classes who all now spoke French and resulted a transformation over time of the English language. Words for foods served at the table to the ruling classes changed while those for those same animals who the peasants (non-french speaking) took care of in the barn yard remained the same.
I learned this from my freshman year English professor. We were able to get class stalled about 5 times (on quiz/test days cause his explaination lasted about 30 minutes) by asking why is it beef on the table and cow in the barnyard?
