FYI: Impacted wisdom tooth removal is one of the only dental procedures that most US medical insurance companies cover. I managed to save my parents a couple thousand dollars as a teen when I flipped the fuck out in the chair and made them take me to an oral surgeon.

I agree with Barbara, getting knocked out for a surgery is one of the most bizarre experiences I've had. It certainly makes getting 4 wisdom teeth removed and a dental implant put in much more pleasant. But suddenly waking up 2 hours later is a trip.
I'm sorry, I just have to say. Night vision goggles don't act on ambient IR. They do indeed have extremely powerful IR LED projectors and the camera is set to receive the light they emit and reflect off of. PS.
