Woot, early podcast. Is this because Lindsay edits now? Is she just that much better than Gus?

I'll admit that I did what Jack suggested in Minecraft, I have a chamber beneath my house that is so fucking big and deep that I've dug into other random caves throughout the world and I've hit bedrock so I couldn't go down anymore. And I agree with Gus on his part, gold is fucking hard to find, I got like 13 ingots from that big ass catacomb I dug.

It's so nice to actually have the podcast released in the UK on a Wednesday.
Also, I found this earlier today. The number of stuff Tesla discovered is crazy.

Did anyone notice in Gavin's reference to the expanding earth theory that the earth was rotating backwards? I mean it's a crackpot laughable theory at best, they could have at least had the planet going the right way.

A comic about Tesla. Not sure about the correctness, but one thing is sure, Edison was a douche: theoatmeal.com/comics/tesla

Also, it's nice to hear science talk, but please don't let Gavin or Brandon talk science ever again.

Yo, again with the Fahrenheit > Celsius discussion.

The only argument you have against Celsius, is the difference between degrees is lower, making more values in an interval, say, the freezing and boiling points of water.

Your points are stupid. Stick to that argument. It makes sense, man.

I wasn't going to comment on this after last week, but as it was brought up again I have to say something. I am a professional geologist and the earth is not expanding. The core in inner core is a solid metal nickel/iron alloy and the outer core is molten. The outer core of the earth is the only broad section of the earth that is liquid. We can measure the movement of the Earth's tectonic plates very accurately and they do not provide evidence for an expanding earth. There is a lot of evidence to contradict Gavin's expanding earth theory, but this is a RvB post and I am sure most of you have stopped reading by now. Point is: GREAT podcast, but Gavin should stick to moon lassoing.

Why didn't anyone make the point, if the Earth is expanding from the inside out, where is all that material coming from?! That right there kinda kills the idea of an expanding Earth.

Can you guys stop treating EVERYTHING Gavin says (even if he's right) as if he's wrong? I kind of gets uncomfortable to listen to. Sometimes it's funny, but it's just awkward after a while.

the lack of sports knowledge hurts me head. Kris Humphries plays for the (now) Brooklyn Nets & is a half star just from being married to Kim K. for 72 days. Blake Griffin is an All Star from the LA Clippers who is a solid team now w/ the acquisition of Chris Paul.

The world will end when we find out how it began. I think this is true becuase the only way to find out how the world began is to create another which would destroy ours

@roosterteeth I have a question. Have you guys banned Geoff and Griffon from the podcast because they haven't been in one for 35 and 42 episodes... :( This saddens me.

Guys the reason the Farlands existed was because the numbers got too big for the computer to handle. It's called floating point precision and when they get too big it just fucks up

About the Fahrenheit and Celsius debate,

In my opinion, Celsius is more usefully for the fact it can be used to create a thermometer by using the constant of waters boiling point and its freezing point. I really know nothing about Fahrenheit so if anyone knows any benefits please say so.

apparently Tesla had discovered and developed a way to transmit wireless electricity for free, but since it would potentially destroy the power industry he was De-funded and his creation was destroyed by i know not who....
