Dont worry Joel Im in there with you in your book it took me 3 full run throughs of Fallout 3 to get all the achievements. that and vidmaster has not given it to me that fucking achievement even though Ive beaten it 4 times. zero achievements.
1) XBox Avatars - That's why the Miis on the Nintendo Wii are better. Because they're useful and they're used in games with generic characters, as well as being dispersed through the backgrounds of other various games (like MarioKart Wii), but on the XBox, Avatars are useless, only used for the looks.

3) Hey, Geoff. Did you realize that the sister in Drake and Josh, as well as Carly on iCarly is the manager girl from School of Rock? I wondered what happened to those kids after that movie. I think she's the only one that'd done anything big since.
I hate that damn number on my XBL account too. It says I've only been a member for 1 year, even though I had an account on my original Xbox. There were just a few months last year when I let my subscription expire because I had no internet.
yeah actually when you play with the iron skull on, when one person dies everyone dies and it goes on your carnage report. so if you played with somebody who died 200 times and you didnt died once your deaths would be 200 also oblivion does have fast travel, even easier than fallout 3 you can repair wepons without using other ones more civilization everywhere horses to run faster more weps and armor more houses to live in 30$ on games on demand
I had the achievement not working problem for Halo 3's blow up a vehicle with a trip mine achievement. Solved it just by doing it like 4 or 5 times and then it finally unlocked.
On a more related note, though, did geoff really play through Oblivion not knowing you could fast travel? Man, that fucking sucks.
I've had so many achievements just fail on me. mostly with Dead Rising.
I cant get achievements that i've earned on my xbox, because if my profile was on someone elses system, then i'd recover to mine, i'd lose my achievement, AND i cant get em again.
I beat every song in Rock band one on expert guitar. The game has saved scores for every song in quick play AND tour. Still no achievement for beating it.
Geoff, there is fast travel in Oblivion. Just pointing that out.
Also, I'm the complete opposite of you. I loved Oblivion, but I couldn't get into Fallout. I think I have the same problem Burnie had. I just think I didn't discover a lot of the features. I'll have to pick it up again.
about Oblivion, its definitely worth playing. very fun. 224 hours played on that game. u can fast travel to places, even if u havent discovered them. cities, that is. gav's glitch he was talking about was fixed a long time ago. and the shivering isles DLC was probably the funnest part of any game iv eve played.

Geoff's issue against Gav's friendly-fire is aptly placed; Geoff being from Army-origin would find that type of behavior unacceptable on the battlefield.

Just catching up on the podcasts. The shortcut in the Annual Achievement is not worth it, I can blow through that achievement in under an hour without the shortcut, it may seem difficult to fight all that Flood, but it's all about the weapons you choose in the beginning, when you use said weapons, and where you stand. If you want me to prove this, ask me to play a game with you.
